STMA Mayor Intervenes to Ease Traffic Gridlock on Kojokrom-Ahinkofi Highway
In a timely and decisive move, the hardworking Mayor of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly, Hon. Lawyer F.F. Faidoo, has directed the removal of a stranded articulated truck that had caused severe traffic congestion along the Kojokrom-Ahinkofi highway.
The truck, which was loaded with bales of second-hand clothing, had obstructed traffic for four consecutive days, leading to growing frustration among motorists and pedestrians. The situation drew public concern and widespread complaints over the inconvenience caused.
Following the Mayor’s intervention, the owners of the vehicle and its cargo commenced the offloading process at approximately 4:00 p.m. today. This action brought significant relief to commuters, restoring the smooth flow of traffic in the area.
The public expresses gratitude to Hon. Faidoo for his swift and proactive response in addressing the concerns of road users and safeguarding public order.
