On Monday, May 3, 2021, I inaugurated the Wassa Hemaa Foundation office in Accra.

The office which is located along the Nii Martey Tsuru Street at Airport East, Accra, is to enhance the Foundation's activities towards addressing developmental challenges in the areas of education, legal literacy, poverty alleviation, healthcare delivery, and equitable economic growth among citizens especially, women and chidren.

The Queen mother of Bogoso, Nana Adwoa Tanaa II, who was the special guest of honor represented all the Queen mothers of Wassa land.

Since its inception, the Wassa Hemaa Foundation has had a tremendous impact on health, education, capacity building, employment, and income generating programmes in the Prestea/Huni-Valley Municipality. It has supported brilliant but needy students, provided financial assistance to traders, as well as constructed educational and health centres in the Prestea/Huni-Valley Constituency.

As President of the Foundation, I indicated the goal of the Foundation is to improve the well-being of women and chidren in Wassa land particularly and the Country in general.

I am hopeful that the dedicated office would facilitate the work of the Foundation to the benefit of citizens.
