The Northern Regional Boxing Association (NRBA), the Northern Sector Boxing Association (NSBA), and the Northern Boxing Club join the people of Dagbon, the Northern Region, Ghana, and the global Dagomba community in mourning the passing of His Royal Majesty, Ya-Na Abukari II, the revered Overlord of the Dagbon Kingdom.

The late Ya-Na was a symbol of peace, wisdom, unity, humility, and visionary leadership.

Throughout his reign, he remained a father to all, promoting harmony, cultural heritage, youth development, and social progress across Dagbon and beyond.

As sporting institutions dedicated to nurturing discipline, courage, hard work, and excellence among the youth, we recognize and celebrate the immense contributions of the Ya-Na toward the advancement of society and the empowerment of future generations.

His passing is not only a great loss to the Kingdom of Dagbon but also to the entire nation of Ghana.

His legacy of servant leadership, reconciliation, dignity, and commitment to development will continue to inspire us for generations to come.
