In view of the apparent development deficit in northern Ghana, the potential of the youth in the three northern regions have been largely confined. From time immemorial, and even now, the issue regarding
harnessing the untapped potential of the three northern regions (i.e. be it human, or material resources) have become a political tool than a real national commitment. The Alliance for Northern Revival Ghana is a community of highly motivated people from north of Ghana, and or their friends or allies from other parts of Ghana and the world at large who share in the conviction that northern Ghana deserve better. RATIONAL
People from northern Ghana have for several decades tried to harmonize their respective interests to a much wide-reaching collective interest that would see to uplifting economic fortunes and general well-being of all the population in communities throughout northern Ghana. This effort has suffered certain setbacks due to various reasons among which is:
• Lack of effective leadership
• lack of unity in purpose
• Absence of strategic futuristic planning
• Low participation of youth in community building
• Lack of interest among northern professionals (business people, people in academia, sports and entertainment) to focus on establishing their talents or enterprises in northern Ghana. Alliance for Northern Revival Ghana seeks to synchronize thoughts of people of northern decent and their friends/allies with the general anticipation of a better northern Ghana as captured in the concept behind the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) and other development intervention programs alike.
