Spinathon 3 - Campaign Against Cancer🚴‍♂️💥

We’re back and bigger than ever! Join us on Wednesday 22nd April from 9am - 4pm outside St Bernard’s Hospital for Spinathon 3 - an event full of energy, community spirit, and purpose.

Expect a great atmosphere with music, cake, and a raffle, all while we come together to support an incredible cause and accompany Floyd (me) on the bikes!

🚨 Very limited team slots available - so get your team together and secure your place early!

🏆 The team that raises the most funds will receive a special thank you prize.

Spinning slots are available at 15mins each with 5 bikes available per slot. Each team is invited to provide a donation of their choice.

All team donations must be made directly via the JustGiving page - you can find it through the link in bio or by scanning the QR code.

On Wednesday, we ran a Boot Camp session at Eastern Beach in support of Cancer Relief Gibraltar raising an incredible £300! 💛

This session was about coming together for something bigger than ourselves - moving with purpose and raising funds for an important cause that does so much in our community 💛

Exercise is one of the most powerful tools we have. It’s been linked to reducing the risk of cancer, while boosting our physical health, mental wellbeing, and overall quality of life.

And doing it outdoors just hits different,
Fresh air, sunlight and a space to breathe. It resets you, clears your head, and reminds you how good it feels to simply move.

What I love most about being physically active is that anyone can be part of it. No matter your level, no matter your starting point - you can move at your pace, your power.

That’s the environment we’ve built: supportive, encouraging, and real. No egos, just people showing up and doing their best.

5 reasons to squat (and it’s not just about having a nice 🍑)

1. Strength training is linked to longer life 🏋🏻

Research shows people who regularly strength train (including squats) have a lower risk of early death compared to inactive adults.

Even simple squat training improves walking, stair climbing, and daily movement. All key to long term quality of life.
