📣 The GPTA Trusted Novus Bank 2nd Ranked Padel (Members Only) Tournament of 2024 came to an end on Sunday 09th June after 7️⃣ days of action packed games at the Bayside Sports Complex.

🏁 Finals-Day saw a total of 8 highly contested matches which culminated in the most successful tournament to date. Attendance for the finals reach a new level 🙌🏻

💥 84 Teams Registered
💥 168 Players Registered Throughout the 4 Divisions

➡️In the Men’s 1st Division, Amos Federico and Rafael Bado Blanco beat Stefan Cumbo and Jeremy Poggio in straight sets 2-0. However, the score does not do justice in what was a thrilling and hard fought encounter.

➡️In the Woman’s category, Lindsay Sene and kelly Romero were once again crowned champions after defeating Dakota Norton and Kayleigh Payas in straight sets 2-0 in a well contested Final.

➡️The Men’s 2nd Division saw a new pairing to the winners hall of fame with Aydan Colton and Gareth Lopez defeating Stefan Oliva and Jovan Buttigieg 2-1 in sets.

➡️The Men’s Third Division final, Henry Gerada and Guy Palmer had to dig deep to beat Daniel Marrache and Mark Warwick 2-1 in sets.

💥 166 Players Registered Throughout the 4 Divisions

➡️In the Men’s 1st Division, Dylan Casciaro and Jeremy Poggio beat James Taylor and Declan Christie in a thrilling 3 set encounter with DC/JP winning 6/4-5/7-6/4.

➡️In the Woman’s category, with a record number of 18 teams participated, Lindsay Sene and kelly Romero were crowned champions after defeating Kaira Sene and Louise Bado in straight sets 7-5/7-5 in a well contested Final.

➡️The Men’s 2nd Division saw Ivan Gomez and Itay Uman defeated Frank Warwick and Isaac Mizarhi 2-1 in sets.

➡️The Men’s 3rd Division, Karel Espinosa and Stephen Misfud beat Graham Southwell and Lim Lavagna in straight sets 2-0.
