HAPPY SUPER CUP DAY 2026

21/08/2026

The monetarians faced a setback on Thursday 20th August 2026 in their opening match of the Banjulinding Sports Committee Nawettan season 26/27, Group D, following a series of missed opportunities, including a failed penalty attempt by Lamin Gassama. Their opponents, Manga FC, avenged their previous defeat with a well-executed free kick by Ebrima Suwareh in the final ten minutes of the match. After Manga FC successfully converted the free kick, Work Money FC came close to equalizing on two occasions but failed to capitalize on their opportunities. This represents a promising beginning for Manga FC in comparison to their campaign from the previous year, during which they were unable to qualify from the group stages.
