We are proud to announce the successful completion of the first phase of the 48-day Wushu Training Course in Dakar, Senegal, focusing on the Tai Chi Quan 24 Form.
Representing The Gambia, Master Ousman Badjie, Taolu & Chief Judge of the Gambia Kung Fu Wushu Federation, delivered an outstanding performance in the final examination, emerging as 🥇 Best Individual Performer among the participants.
This achievement is a great honour for The Gambia and reflects the dedication, discipline, and growing standard of our practitioners on the international stage. 🇬🇲🔥
We congratulate Master Ousman Badjie on this remarkable achievement and commend Master Saidu Fall for his continued participation and commitment.
The journey continues with the next phase of training, featuring a new trainer and a different Wushu style.

🇬🇲🥋 THE GAMBIA REPRESENTED AT WUSHU TRAINING COURSE IN SENEGAL 🇸🇳🇨🇳

The Gambia proudly participated in the Opening Ceremony of the Wushu Training Course in Dakar, Senegal, held yesterday, following an official invitation from the Senegalese Kung Fu Wushu Federation.

Representing The Gambia are two experienced Wushu Masters:

🥋 Master Ousman Badjie
🥋 Master Saidou Faal

The two Gambian representatives were accompanied by the President of the Gambia Kung Fu Wushu Federation, Mr. Alieu Bah, who joined them at the official opening ceremony.

🇨🇳 The 48-day training course, running from 17 August to 3 October 2026, is funded by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and organized to promote Wushu training, skills development, and international exchange.

During the course, the Gambian representatives will receive intensive training covering various areas of Wushu, different forms, techniques, and styles, gaining valuable knowledge and experience to further contribute to the development of Wushu in The Gambia.

This is a significant opportunity for The Gambia, Senegal, and China to strengthen friendship, cultural exchange, and cooperation through Wushu.

We sincerely appreciate the Senegalese Kung Fu Wushu Federation for extending this important invitation and the People’s Republic of China for supporting this valuable training initiative.

The Gambia Kung Fu Wushu Federation is honored to announce that our President, Mr. Alieu Bah, has been invited as a distinguished guest on CGASA Bantaba TV Show – Episode 2, a platform dedicated to promoting dialogue, cultural understanding, and strengthening the longstanding friendship between China and The Gambia.
As one of the pioneers of Wushu development in The Gambia and among the first Gambians to receive training at the legendary Shaolin Temple, Mr. Bah's participation reflects the growing impact of cultural exchange in fostering mutual respect, education, and people-to-people connections between our two nations.
This invitation is not only a recognition of his personal contributions but also a testament to the role of Wushu as a bridge of friendship, discipline, cultural appreciation, and international cooperation.
