The young academy prodigies of SV Amstetten capitalized on two glorious chances to score a glancing header from a set piece and capped it off with a thunderous free kick to book their spot in the playoffs.

The second round of the BSC Nawettan qualifiers has ended in style as the former Rush Academy team pulled another surprise victory.

The day’s fixture began between Grassroots and Manta at 3PM. The match was played with intensity and high tempo. The grassroots boys carried the day following a 2️⃣ - 1️⃣ victory marking their qualification to the third round of the qualifiers.

The 5PM game showed the Former Rush Academy boys fall behind in the first half. However, they restored parity in the second 1️⃣ - 1️⃣, and took the game to a post-match penalty shoot-out.

The magical moment shows their savior once again rising to the occasion by saving
two spot kicks and earning them a 4️⃣ - 2️⃣ victory. The team proceeds to the third round of the BSC Nawettan qualifiers.
