Job Title: Driver (1 Position)
Location: Kanifing (for the time being)
Job Type: Full-time
Reports To: Chief Driver

Gambia Teachers Union Cooperative Credit Union (GTUCCU) is looking for a dependable and safety-conscious driver to operate the staff bus. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for transporting staff between home and office, as well as carrying out other assigned duties. The ideal candidate should have a clean driving record and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Driver Responsibilities and Duties.

Operate the GTUCCU staff bus daily.

Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.

Maintain accurate records of mileage and fuel consumption.

Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle.

Driver Qualifications and Skills

Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., bus).

Clean driving record with no recent traffic violations.

Proven experience as a driver; commercial driving experience is an advantage.

Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and routes.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Literacy is an advantage.

Applicants aged 25 to 40 years are preferred.
