Congratulations to Salanding United, champions of the Real Dolphin FA Under 7 Peace Football Tournament! 🏆

Salanding United came from behind to defeat Rico FC 3:1 on penalties after the match ended 1:1 in normal time. Rico FC took the lead in the second half, but Salanding United showed great determination and resilience, scoring the equalizer in added time to force the match into a penalty shootout.

Salanding United kept their composure from the spot and secured a well-deserved victory to lift the trophy.

Real Dolphin FA Under-7 Peace Football Tournament ,Champions: Salanding United!

SUCCESSFUL EDUCATIONAL & TRAINING SESSION WITH COACH ANSU JALLOW

Real Dolphin Football Academy was privileged to host Coach Ansu Jallow of Northern Star FC, a Gambia Football Federation Second Division side, for an educational and practical training session with our young players.

The session began with an educational and theoretical discussion, where Coach Ansu shared valuable lessons about football, discipline, commitment and life beyond the pitch.

Among his key messages, he encouraged the players to understand that football requires sacrifice, patience and the ability to endure challenges. He reminded them to be time conscious, especially when attending training sessions and advised them not to become complacent or feel bigger than others.

He also emphasized that players who want to be marketed and attract opportunities must always be prepared, disciplined and ready to perform whenever opportunities come their way.

Coach Ansu humbly stated that he does not know everything, but he came to share the knowledge and experience he has gained with the young players.

He further introduced the players to two tactical formations: 1-4-3-3 and 1-3-5-2, explaining how they can be applied during matches.

PRACTICAL SESSION

Following the theory session, Coach Ansu moved to the practical aspect, focusing on important technical and tactical areas such as:

Passing and control
Spacing and movement
Ball possession
Team shape and tactical understanding
Applying technical skills under pressure

The players were then given the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding through practical exercises and a small sided game using two goalposts.

It was an excellent and highly educative session, and our players gained valuable knowledge and experience from Coach Ansu’s training.

At the end of the session, Coach Ansu encouraged the players to take whatever they do in life seriously, remain disciplined, work hard and continue learning.

Player of the Match ⚽️ Essa Baldeh

Essa Baldeh was named Player of the Match following a masterclass performance in midfield during Njie’s FA’s 2:1 victory over Bolokanta FC. His tireless energy, determination, and composure in the middle of the park played a crucial role in controlling the game and inspiring his side to a well deserved win. Baldeh’s outstanding display was instrumental in helping Njie’s FA secure all three points and climb to the top of Group C

Njie’s FA Secure Top Spot in Group C with Victory Over Bolokanta FC

Njie’s FA defeated Bolokanta FC 2:1 in today’s Group C encounter to maintain their perfect start to the competition and claim top spot with 6 points from two matches.

Muhammed Kandeh and Ebrima Fofana were on target for Njie’s FA, while Bubacarr Fatty scored Bolokanta FC’s consolation goal.

Despite the defeat, Bolokanta FC remain second in the group with 3 points from three matches. However, their qualification hopes are now out of their hands and will depend on the outcome of Friday’s crucial clash between Dream Chasers FC and Njie’s FA.

Njie’s FA have already strengthened their position at the top of Group C, while the battle for the remaining qualification spot will be decided in the final group match.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Buba Jallow Fallaboy

Earlier this morning, Real Dolphin Football Academy was delighted to receive a generous donation of football equipment from renowned Gambian journalist Buba Jallow “Fallaboy.”

The donation included jerseys, shorts, socks, goalkeeper gloves, and several pairs of football boots. These materials will go a long way in supporting the development of our young players and strengthening our academy.

During the presentation, Mr. Jallow encouraged our players to remain committed to the academy’s vision and to stay focused on their football journey. He advised them not to be misled by others and reminded them to always respect their coaches. He also emphasized that whenever they receive opportunities to play for other teams, they should first seek permission from their academy coaches as a sign of discipline and respect.

We are truly grateful for this thoughtful gesture and your unwavering support for youth football development.

Player of the Match

Seedy Ceesay, popularly known as Petti, was deservedly named Player of the Match following his outstanding performance for Rangers FC against Sibikarang United.

His tireless energy, determination, and influence in midfield were instrumental in helping Rangers FC secure a hard fought result. He covered every blade of sand, inspired his teammates, and delivered a performance worthy of recognition.

Sibikarang United and Rangers FC Share the Spoils in Rain Soaked Encounter

Sibikarang United and Rangers FC played out an entertaining 1:1 draw on a rainy day at Bunks Park, with both sides earning a point in a hard fought contest.

Despite the wet conditions, both teams displayed determination and resilience throughout the match, settling for a share of the spoils after an evenly contested 60 minutes.

The result was enough to confirm both Sibikarang United and Rangers FC’s places in the quarter finals, as they successfully progressed to the knockout stage of the competition.
