2026 B4L U17 SEASON – PARTICIPATING TEAMS ANNOUNCED! ⚽🏆

Congratulations to all 32 teams selected to participate in the 2026 B4L U17 Youth League! We applaud your dedication to youth football and wish you a successful and memorable campaign. Welcome to another exciting season of competition, development, and opportunity.

This year’s edition received an overwhelming expression of interest, with almost 150 teams applying to participate. The incredible response reflects the growing impact and reputation of the B4L Youth League as one of the leading platforms for youth football development in The Gambia. To provide more opportunities for young players, we have expanded the competition to 32 teams this year.

The teams will be divided into 4 groups of 8, with each team guaranteed 7 group-stage matches. This format ensures that every player has enough opportunities to compete and showcase their abilities, regardless of the outcome of the group stage.

One of the league’s core objectives is talent identification and exposure. Every match will be professionally recorded, ensuring that every team has quality game footage for players to be seen by scouts, agents, clubs, and football stakeholders looking to discover the next generation of Gambian talent.

To every academy and club that applied but could not be accommodated this year, thank you for believing in the B4L vision. Your passion for youth football is deeply appreciated, and we encourage you to continue your excellent work. We look forward to welcoming many more teams in future editions.
