The two teams have to battle out for the reaming spot after Sabi and ASM Athletic comfirm their qualification respectively.

JAM CITY UNITED QUALIFY FOR GFF PROMOTION PLAY-OFF SEMI-FINAL

Jam City United have secured their place in the semi-final of the GFF Promotion Play-Offs after a dramatic group-stage campaign.

Jam City United started their campaign in an impressive style, a convincing 4–1 victory over Essau United. However, they suffered a dissapointing 3–1 defeat against SMC.

The final group match saw Essau United defeat SMC 3–0, a result that confirmed Jam City and Essau qualification for the semi-final with two teams advancing from the group.

The team can now turn its attention to the semi-final scheduled for Tuesday 28th July aginst URR champions SABI where they will be aiming to take another important step towards promotion.

Just a win will see them automatically qualify back to GFF 2nd Division.

ASM Athletic, Sabi FC, Jam City, and Essau United have all secured their spots in the semifinals of the GFF National Playoff Finals for Promotion to the GFF Second Division League. The quartet confirmed their places following Sunday's decisive matches.

Ali Camara continued his sensational goal-scoring form with another brace to inspire Sabi FC to a crucial 2-1 win over Sporting Real in Bakau. The result saw the URR champions secure a semifinal berth alongside ASM Athletic.

ASM overpowered Pipeline FC in a 2-0 victory to finish at the summit of Group A with seven points, booking their place in the last four.
Elsewhere, Essau United needed a three-goal cushion to qualify for the semifinals. The NBR champions did what was required with a convincing 3-0 defeat of SMC FC in their final group game played at the Live Your Dreams Academy Field in Basori.

The trio joined Jam City, who had earlier booked their place despite a stunning 3-1 defeat to SMC FC on Friday. The WCR champions' dominant 4-1 victory over Essau United in the group opener proved enough to secure their spot.

Both semifinal matches will be played on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026. ASM Athletic will take on Essau United at the Live Your Dreams Academy Field in Basori, while Jam City will host Sabi FC at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama.

The winners of the semifinals will automatically gain promotion to the GFF Second Division League. The losers will face off in a final playoff game on July 30th, with the winner taking the ultimate promotion spot.

It's all over at the late Ousman Saho Football field at Old Yundum. The lions were awaken in the 3rd minute of the game as the opponents strike first. As the game tempo shift, just 15 minutes on, Muhammed Lamin Marong level the scores, Ousman Bojang with the 2nd, Bubacarr Jallow and Banora wrapped up the show.
