🏴‍☠️ ONE POINT. ONE PROUD PIRATES SEASON. 🏴‍☠️

The Pirates Premier boys fell short 11–10 to Royals in a hard-fought Grand Final. It wasn’t the result we wanted, but we couldn’t be prouder of the fight, growth and commitment this team has shown.

2026 was a rebuilding year — a year of testing the waters, rebuilding our foundation and finding our identity again. Almost a year of hard work brought us back to the Grand Final. That alone speaks volumes about the character and dedication of this group.

A massive THANK YOU to our incredible supporters, families, fans and everyone who showed up for the Pirates in every way throughout the season. ❤️

And to our amazing team sponsors — IROK Services , TWM Group, Designscope Architects, and Sasoriap Maintenance & Construction Ltd — thank you for believing in and backing the Pirates. Your support means everything to this club. 🙏

We take the lessons, we take the experience, and we take the pride with us.

This chapter ends. The rebuild continues.
🏴‍☠️ We’ll be back. 🏴‍☠️

NEXT JOB! 🔴⚪⚫

Irok Pirates Rugby 🏴‍☠️🔥 Set Sail! 🏴‍☠️🫡

IROK Pirates and Consort Royals will renew their recent grand final rivalry when they meet in the Morobe Rugby Union Premier division decider at the Scrum Oval in Lae tomorrow.

The match, scheduled for 2:30pm, will be the latest chapter in a rivalry that has seen the two clubs share the past two Premier division championships. Pirates defeated Royals in the 2024 grand final before Royals responded by winning last year’s title.
