The Promise of the Hot Sauce: A Reunion in Antigua 🌶️🧺

Before the start of the journey, a unique pact was made at the local laundry. Suzette and Christian Sauer connected over more than just logistics; Christian helped her install the tracker app on her phone so she could follow his progress across the ocean. ⚓️📱

As a parting gift, Suzette handed him a bottle of local hot sauce with a specific challenge: if he returned the empty bottle after his voyage, she would replace it with a fresh one. 🌶️✨

True to the agreement, Christian returned to the laundry today. Having successfully navigated the race, he presented the empty bottle to Suzette, who was ready with a brand-new one to honor their deal. It is a story of a simple promise kept and the local connections that define the spirit of the stopovers. 🤝🔥
