35 years sober. 13 years of the Recovery 2.0 Community.
Behind every year of sobriety is a community of support, family who stand by us, friends who celebrate our victories, teachers who guide us, and a Sangha that believes in our potential even when we struggle to see it ourselves.
When we gather in community, we create a space where everyone is rooting for everyone else. A space where growth is possible, transformation is supported, and no one has to do it alone.
Today, we celebrate Tommy’s 35 years of sobriety and the countless people who have been part of that journey along the way.
Here’s to recovery, community, and the power of walking this path together.

I found myself wishing that you all lived closer, and that my living room was much larger. Then I realized, we can gather in my living room virtually.
I mentioned the idea to Tommy, and he immediately said, “Let’s do it!”
At Recovery 2.0, we often speak about four primary relationships: our relationship with ourselves, with others, with a Higher Power, and with the Earth. Recovery invites us to bring healing and integrity to each of these connections.
As we walk the Earth as amended people, we naturally begin to consider how our choices impact the world around us. We recognize that our wellbeing is inseparable from the wellbeing of the Earth itself.
Food sourcing, regenerative agriculture, and our relationship with the natural world are subjects that matter deeply to our community, which is why we believe many of you will be inspired by the message of Groundswell.
We hope you’ll join us for an evening of inspiration, learning, and connection.

More moments from Greece. A return to the Oracle. A remembering.
The energy from our practices doesn't stay in that place, it travels home with us, woven into how we breathe, how we move, how we show up.
📍Return to the Oracle, 2026 | Amorgos, Greece

This month, 35 of us came together in Greece and went deep for a week. We broke through.
The ancient essence of this place, the oracle that is here, the monastery that is here, the power of the natural environment! It all combined and…something happened.
I’m feeling an even higher level of hope and confidence that we are on the right track and that we are going to make it!
All of us.
And now I am left to try to tell you about it. I just want you to know that something very special took place and I’m so moved that I am at a loss for words.
Those who know me well will attest to the fact that I am rarely at a loss for words.
I’m clearer than I have ever been that…
recovery is a practice: breath, movement, sadhana, presence...
we become what we train ourselves to do...
your case is being considered.
📍Return to the Oracle, 2026 | Amorgos, Greece

There is a 1000 year-old sacred monastery, a power center on the island of Amorgos called Hozoviotissa. Dedicated to Mother Mary, it was built into the side of a cliff perched over the Aegean Sea. We made a pilgrimage there and climbed the 300 steps.
Inside, we met this amazing human being, a monk who arrived here when he was 18 years old. Now 72, he had been there for 55 years of his life. Mindblowing!
We asked him what it took for him to decide to spend his life as a monk in this monastery. He said, “some people know they want to be an electrician. Other people know they want to be a doctor. I knew that this was what I wanted to do.” Connecting with him was special. He was incredibly present, authentic, real.
