DAY 1 RECAP:

Parents & athletes, how awesome was Day 1? We started the day with an Octopus Guard masterclass by Professor Yuta. He covered his favorite entries, the different responses you might expect, and his favorite back attacks from the position.

The kids program was packed with so many different students from different academies and it was so awesome to see them get together for the bigger purpose of getting better. Professor Yuta taught details to the Osoto Gari takedown and the kids did a phenomenal job of paying attention and executing.

In the ADCC training, we learned the details of a MG classic - the X Guard. We concluded the session with a 45 minute rolling marathon.

What an amazing start to the camp, and we look forward to the rest of the week 🔥
