Today, Evolution Cycling Club joins the cycling fraternity in mourning the passing of Hassan Mohamed.

A mentor. A leader. A pioneer. A true legend.

Your dedication and passion helped shape cycling in Guyana and inspired generations of riders to pursue their dreams on two wheels. The roads you paved will continue to be travelled, and the lessons you shared will continue to guide us.

Another successful championship weekend for the KFC Evolution Cycling Club as our riders delivered outstanding performances across multiple categories, bringing home podium finishes and national titles.

Today, on Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and determination of the incredible women who continue to push the wheels of cycling forward in Guyana.

To our female cyclists — who train, race, and represent with courage even through discomfort, pain, and challenges often left unspoken — we see you, we honour you, and we applaud you.

To our female administrators, organizers, coaches, volunteers, and supporters working tirelessly behind the scenes to grow the sport — thank you for helping create spaces where women and girls can thrive in cycling.

Menstrual health is not a weakness. It is a natural part of life, and no girl or woman should ever feel ashamed, unsupported, or limited because of it. Menstrual Hygiene Day continues to promote dignity, awareness, education, and breaking stigma surrounding periods worldwide.

As we ride toward a stronger sporting future for Guyana, let us continue building an environment where every female athlete feels empowered, respected, and supported — on and off the bike. 🚴🏽‍♀️💜🇬🇾

The Diamond Jubilee edition of Guyana’s Independence Three-Stage Road Race delivered a thrilling and historic finish.

The 43rd edition of the prestigious event introduced a brand-new route. Moving away from the traditional Berbice course, riders were challenged across demanding terrain through Linden, West Demerara, and Georgetown.

KFC Evolution Cycling Club came out in full force and delivered outstanding performances across multiple categories. The team secured the Female category title through Denise Jeffrey, the 35+ category through Segun Hubbard, and the Juvenile category through Justin Tenpow. We also copped the 2nd place Juniors prize by Alex Newton who put down a powerful display!

Adding to an already impressive showing, KFC Evolution also placed six elite cyclists within the top 20 overall standings, with Cortis Dey powering his way to an excellent 4th-place finish overall and Roy Mangru with a 3rd place finish in the CAT4's.

A sincere thank you to the Ministry of Culture youth and sport, National Sport Commission for making this event a reality. And a special thank you to our sponsor KFC Guyana without your support throughout the years, we could not be where we are today.
