Titans batted first made a huge 160 for 4 from 10 overs.
Kamwatta MWSC chasing 161 for victory could only muster 59 all out.

MATCH SUMMARY - CJM 8/8
Kamwatta MWSC vs Assakata SHW.

ASSAKATA WON THE TOSS and inserted Kamwatta to bat first on a very soggy pitch and outfield after heavy showers during the morning sesion.

BATTING FIRST, Kamwatta MWSC made 108 for 3 from their alloted 8 overs. (Overs reduced due to rain). Outstanding contribution with bat came from Brandon Hutson 24 runs (2Γ—6, 2Γ—4) not out from 8 balls, Aron Wils Wilson 22 runs (3Γ—4) runs from 15 balls, Marvin Benjamin 19 runs (2Γ—6, 1Γ—4) from 11 balls, Ozan Francis 17 runs (1Γ—4, 1Γ—6) from 8 balls. Ravi Benjamin was not out on 6 from 3 balls. (1Γ—6).
Bowling for Assakata, Henly Charles finished with figures of 2 overs 19 runs for 1 wicket, Manley Hope 2 overs 17 runs for 1 wicket and Levan Joseph 1 over 13 runs for 1 wicket were the three wicket takers for Assakata.

IN REPLY, Asskata chasing 109 for victory from 8 overs finished their innings 2 runs short on 106 for 4 wickets, giving Kamwatta a very narrow victory by 2 runs and a place in the Semi- Finals of the ongoing Cheddi and Janet Jagan Memorial Cricket competition 2026.
Batting for Assakata, Aaron Hope made 45 from 20 deliveries (5Γ—6, 2Γ—4), Triston Campbell 25 from 11 balls (4Γ—4, 1Γ—6), Godfrey Aloysoius 16 runs from 7 balls (2Γ—4, 1Γ—6) Levan Joseph 13 runs from 4 balls (2Γ—6). Eyon Joseph and Manley Hope made 3 and 1 respectively.
Bowling for Kamwatta MWSC, Brandon Hutson bowled 2 overs for 19 runs for 2 wickets, Ashton Francis 2 overs 21 runs for 1 wicket, Aaron wilson 2 overs 34 runs for 1 wicket, were the wicket takers for Kamwatta MWSC.
The victory advances Kamwatta to the bext round of the much anticipated CJM 2026 tourney.
