THE GOLDEN STARS FOOTBALL CLUB WILL CONVENE ITS GENERAL MEETING THIS SATURDAY JUNE 20, 206 at 3:00p.m

THE THEME FOR THIS YEARS MEETING ‘STARS AMONG STARS’ DRAWS IN THE PASS SUCCESSES OF THE CLUB AND ACHIEVEMENTS OVER THE LAST TWO YEARS.

AT THE CLOSE OF THE PLENARY THE EAST DEMERARA FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVES WILL RECEIVE NOMINATIONS AND CONDUCT ELECTIONS OFFICE BEARERS FOR THE CLUB OVER THE NEXT TWO (2) YEARS.

MEMBERS OF THE HASLINGTON, GOLDEN GROVE & NABACLIS VILLAGES ARE INVITED TO JOIN.

The East Demerara Football Association Under-13 Champions, Golden Stars, went down 1-0 to Plaisance FC in the final of the ‘C’ Division Commander’s Cup at Plaisance this afternoon.

The loss came as a result of an unfortunate own goal by one of our defenders. Nevertheless, we remain proud of the team’s effort and determination.

We will continue pushing forward as we now shift our focus to this weekend’s GFF/EDFA Under-13 League matches at Buxton Ground.

Congratulations to Plaisance FC on being crowned the Commander's Under-13 Champions. Golden effort by the youngsters.

'C' Division Commander's Cup 2026

Wonderful performance by Golden Stars U13 team this morning at Plaisance Ground. We won 2-0 against Haslington.

So proud of our U13 team. They played like Champions today. After taking an early 1-0 lead through a Denzil Peters strike, the team fought valiantly against a relentless Buxton attack, conceding the equalizer in extra time.
