Chong beats Errani/Paolini

At the WTA 250 Lexus Eastbourne Open, alternates Eudice Chong/Janice Tjen (HKG/INA) saved 10 of 13 break points and broke Italian No. 2 seed Sara Errani/Jasmine Paolini, the 2024 ITF World Champions, four times to post a 7-6(2) 6-3 first round victory.

Chong and Tjen will next face Isabelle Haverlag/Maia Lumsden (NED/GBR) in the quarterfinals.

Maiden final for Kana Leung

At the J30 Selangor in Malaysia, 15-year-old Kana Leung (ETG PT) defeated three seeded players—No. 11 Chi Meng Tung (TPE) in the third round 6-3 6-4, No. 3 Park Ha-an (KOR) 6-2 6-1 in the quarters, and No. 12 Nala Josephine Maskey (USA) 6-2 6-3 in the semis—before she was upended by No. 1 seed Shivali Gurung (NEP) 6-3 5-7 6-3 in the final. This was her career-first ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors girls' singles final after she had reached the J30 Taoyuan semis in Chinese Taipei last October.

國際青少年網球巡迴賽馬來西亞 J30 雪蘭莪站，15 歲的梁齡心 (ETG PT) 先後擊敗三位種子球手—第三圈 以 6-3 6-4 擊敗 11 號種子 Chi Meng Tung (中華台北)，八強以 6-2 6-1 擊敗3號種子 Park Ha-an (韓國)，四強以 6-2 6-3 擊敗 12 號種子 Nala Josephine Maskey (美國)— 直至決賽以 6-3 5-7 6-3 不敵頭號種子 Shivali Gurung (尼泊爾)。

Wong ousted by big-serving Gojo

Fourth-seeded Wong Chak Lam,Coleman黃澤林 fought tooth and nail to save seven set points before conceding the opening tiebreak 12-10 to Croatia's Borna Gojo, who managed to win 90% of the points on first serve today, as he proceeded to run away with the second to win this Wimbledon men's singles qualifying first round encounter 7-6(10) 6-2.

四號種子黃澤林第一盤拼盡全力救走七個決勝分，但當決勝局被Borna Gojo 以 12-10 贏到後，對方今日全場第一發球勝出率保持高達 90%，令這位克羅地亞球手最終以 7-6(10) 6-2 在這場溫布頓男單外圍賽第一圈勝出。
