GG Development Teams are designed for young players with 1+ year of interest class experience, solid fundamentals and a passion for the game.

Players compete in 8+ internal league games and friendlies each month, building real-game experience alongside regular team training. Outstanding players may also be invited to try out for a place on a GG Competitive Team.

This Boxout Game helps young players learn how to box out, protect space and build spatial awareness around the basket.

Designed by FIBA-certified coaches, our beginner and intermediate interest classes use fun, game-based learning to help players aged 3–14 build their basketball skills.

🏀How can your child get better at rebounding?

Rebounding is an important basketball fundamental for young players. With a few simple steps, children can gradually develop their positioning, ball protection and jumping skills — helping them secure the ball after a missed shot.

Following FIBA guidelines, Coach Daryll uses simple skill drills and fun games to help young players build strong basketball fundamentals in an engaging way.

🙌 Step 1 — Max-Height High Fives
Jump as high as possible and reach for the high five.

👐 Step 2 — Jump & Grab the Ball
Jump up and secure the ball with both hands.

🆙 Step 3 — Self-Toss & Catch
Toss the ball up, then jump and grab it at the highest point.

💚A Sweet Moment from GG U10A team🥹

At the end of last season, our U10A players came together to create a special Thank You Video for Coach Walton, celebrating a season of hard work, growth and unforgettable memories.

After finishing runners-up in the Hong Kong Junior Basketball League (HKJBL), the team and families also built a strong bond beyond the court.

A special thank you to Cody’s mum for putting this beautiful video together, and to every player and parent who made this surprise so meaningful. Coach Walton was truly touched and proud of the GG community💚

This September, U10A will move up to U11, alongside a new development team, giving players of different levels the opportunity to improve their skills, build friendships, and grow together.
