Serpent Viper 990E Evo is available!

The Serpent Viper 990E Evo is the successor of the successful 990E
We have spent a lot of testing and research to improve the 990E. As in the 990 Evo Nitro car, we updated the front and rear arms and added the flex shock mounts which are working so well in the Nitro car.
Off course we kept the outstanding features of the 990E, like the low weight, excellent weight distribution and ease of maintenance.
A further big feature is the bullet-proved, yet very free transmission

Jose Almonte reports the 2024 Cow Patty race at the Nuggets track in Florida

The 2024 Cow Patty Classic is done.
I won the GT nitro class with our young fast talented driver Carlie Lopez Finishing 2nd, both driving the SRX8 2023 GT.
Finishing in 6th position Juan Gascot debuting with Serpent. In 10th position Juan Martinez (Paco)
And in 12th position Elvin Calderon (El Bombero).

I also TQ the sedan class but couldn’t deliver in the main after having an accident breaking his car due to a bad left cramp in his left arm after having to run the GT class for 30 mins.

PJ Dietz won the B main in the sedan class and bumped up to the A main finishing in 9th place.

In the 1/8 scale it was Steve Hernandez who delivered a solid 3rd place with his Serpent 990 Evo.

Hamish Scott reports Australian Championships 2024

What a weekend!
🏆 3rd Place at the 2024 IC Australian Nationals! Not something I thought was doable.
Practice went well, was able to find a pretty good base set up quickly to get going while I waited for the track to evolve with tricky conditions with rain each day made changes a little challenging. While I checked a couple engines throughout the first couple of days.
Seeding I had some issues with new tires but seeded P4 putting me in the A group for qualifications.
Qualifications I was able to stay on lead lap each Qually and secured P4 at the end of it with 4x P2s and 2x P3 finishes. With the 5-6 of us running pretty close meant if you had a rich tune or a boggy clutch you ultimately lost out.
Super pole was super close with Peter, Nick and myself I did put down a heater but unfortunately it was deleted leading me to run the semi Even.
Semi was pretty straight forward with Chris and myself sticking together super close to stay out of trouble to just finish in the top 3.
The A main was one of the most intense experiences in racing I've had so far, got off to a clean start happy sitting in P4 but leading up to the second fuel stop I had an issue that I had to Pit for putting me in last place 4 laps down at this point I thought our race was done. We got the car fixed headed out again changed our strategy and with some clean pitstops and fast tyre change I was able to bring myself back through the field . The last few minutes were insane. Trying to hold onto the car with small tires, driving conservatively to ensure we made our fuel targets and with luck on our side that helped us get back to P3 for the finish!
Thanks to everyone for making the trip over from all around the country, was great racing with everyone! Good vibes all around. The Club did an amazing job running the event.
I am super pumped to call this my home track again.
Special mention to Daniel Robins for making the trip over to pit for me for 5 days. Couldn't have done it without ya mate 💪

As always thanks to the guys that keep me on the track!
Hamisch Scott.

2024 IFMAR ISTC World Championships! 🇺🇸

Challenging conditions, close racing and stiff competition at Finishline Raceway, Team Serpent worked together on the X20 finding a comfortable setup allowing Dominic Greiner to finish a fantastic 🅿️7️⃣ in the A-Main!! 🙌
Bryce Butterfield moved up from his qualification efforts to finish 🅿️3️⃣ in the B-main while Jeff Hamon rounded them out with a 🅿️3️⃣ in the C.

Overall a great result for the Serpent X20!
