Are the VAR recordings stored in an aircraft black box? Have to use several days to retrieve it?

So called “conversation recording”:

VAR (Darren England): “Check complete, check complete. That’s fine, perfect.”

Assistant referee 1 (Adrian Holmes): “Playing.”

Referee (Simon Hooper): “Cheers mate.”

VAR: “Thank you, mate.”

Referee: “Well done boys, good process.”

Replay operator: “Wait, wait, wait, wait. The on-field decision was offside…are you happy with this?”

Assistant VAR (Dan Cook): “Yeah.”

Assistant VAR: “Offside goal, yeah…that’s wrong that, Daz.”

VAR: “What?”

Replay operator: “On-field decision was offside. Are you happy with this image? Yeah, it’s onside. The image that we gave them is onside.”

Assistant VAR: “He’s played him. He’s gone offside.”

VAR: “Oh for f**k’s sake.”

VAR official, Darren England, mistakenly thought that the onfield decision was a ‘goal’ and identified that Diaz was onside. He then told the onfield team ‘check complete’ to confirm that Diaz’s goal was legitimate.

How come our TV is showing “Checking Disallowed Goal - Offside”?

Is the explanation acceptable?
