To our marshals from Team Halimau / Gary’s Team / Voltra, stationed at major intersection to ease the navigation effort, and ensured the safety of every runner at road crossings. Your presences gave the peace of mind to runners, knowing the course ahead was well guided.

And volunteer photographers, who on their own clocks dotted the course from start to finish, dusk till dawn: thank you for capturing the journey in all its rawness — the highs, the lows, the grit, and the triumph. Every image is a lasting keepsake, preserving moments that words alone cannot fully tell.

【隱藏義工：掛標 / 補標 / 掃尾 Stealth Crew: Markers / Forerunners / Sweepers】

First, markers & forerunners：Marking a 100-mile course is never perfect — especially when markings are frequently tampered with or removed. Nonetheless our racecourse team remained committed to building a course where runners can trust the route, and minimize the need to whip out the GP file. For the 2026 edition, we pushed further:
* Reproduced new reflective ribbons with extended reflective ends
* Established a V162 marking standard and trained our teams accordingly
* Introduced new tactics using natural materials and flour markings

Big props to our markers and forerunners for carrying our very proud red-white-blue string bag, and executing the marking plan. The way we design our course, heading down maze-like paths and winding through large urban zones, demands more — and we pledge to continue to improve.

As for the Sweepers, whether you took up just one section or did the midnight 4-sections graveyard shift, our heartfelt thank you to our sweep teams for delivering an incident-free wrap-up across all race categories. From ensuring every runner is accounted for, to clearing the course of marks swiftly after the final runner, your professionalism and care bring the event to a proper close.

首先掛標及補標：在一條百英里賽道上，路標從來不可能完美——尤其在標記經常被移除或破壞的情況下。然而，我們始終堅持一個目標：盡最大努力，讓跑手在比賽中減少依賴 GPX 也能安心前行。今年我們的新策略包括：
- 重新製作反光絲帶，加長反光尾段
- 建立更清晰的 V162 掛標標準
- 採用更多自然物料及麵粉作標記輔助

V162賽道設計一向如迷宮般偏離主徑，又乘電車跨過大海，要求更高的掛標密度與投入，感謝掛標及補標隊，携帶著V162獨有、買少見少的紅白藍標袋默默耕耘，而我們亦承諾繼續不斷改進，將跑手覓路的功課變得再輕鬆。

當然也衷心感謝各掃尾隊伍，令今年所有組別順利零事故完成。由確保每位跑手被妥善照顧，到最後迅速清理賽道路標，每一位的專業責任心，為整個賽事劃上圓滿句號。

【入嚟講多謝！港島 CP 義工】Say your thanks to HK island CP crews!

嚟到港島啦！港島賽段雖然交通相對便利，但節奏緊湊、人流密集，因著V162 的變數開站時數也不輸新界達18-22小時，週六清晨刮起六級季候風，仲有大型美食檔需要營運⋯ 港島段一樣有賴各包站CP crew 捱眼瞓大力支持，協助賽會和跑手順利完成賽事。

While the Hong Kong Island section is more accessible, it is fast-paced and high-traffic, demanding precision and coordination at every CP. From the start to the finish, volunteers worked tirelessly for 18-22 hours to manage flow, provide support, and keep operations running smoothly. Thank you for your professionalism and teamwork in holding this section together.

【入嚟講多謝！N80 CP 義工】Say your thanks to N80 CP crews!

N80 橫跨多段荒野山徑，不少 CP 位處極偏遠甚或無車可達，靠步兵進出。義工長時間駐守、徒步接更開收站，尤其後半CP更數超長、N10營地相當繁忙，招呼每位漸現疲憊的跑手，盡力提供協助及鼓勵。多謝你哋專業與熱情，撐起整段賽事。

The N80 section stretches across remote trails, with many CPs located in isolated or even inaccessible by car. Volunteers committed long hours on site, trekking in and out to set up and close stations. The later CPs saw especially extended shifts, and N10 campsite particularly busy, supporting increasingly fatigued runners with care, assistance, and encouragement.

Thank you for your professionalism and dedication — for holding this entire section together.

We are pleased to report that the charity donation for this edition of Victoria 162 has been completed.
With runners’ contributions matched 1:1 by organizer and sponsor, a total of HKD 20,000 has been donated to Food Angel.

Since our debut edition 2018, we ran this fundraising initiative for 3 consecutive years, and we are truly delighted to restart it this year after a few years of post-pandemic hiatus.

本年度 V162 最後一名達陣跑手 - V1025 的全紀錄，100km 之後狀況不斷，過海後港島段更難捱，最後在關門前14分鐘憑單腳衝線，非常寫實又熱血，值得一睇再睇！

The last V162 racer to finish this year : V1025 ‘s full journey vlog. All was too real with all sorts of issues popping up after 100km and fully blew up after reaching HK island. Dragged one good leg onwards and reached H6 with just 14mins left. It was commitment, grit and willfulness on full display! Take a watch!

《爹爹單手模式》 2026 v162 全程｜162km｜PakLeeTheGuy vlog no.104 繼North Face之後，又一次跑第尾～🤣🤣🤣🤟🏾第一次參加100英里山賽，膽粗粗報名的時候已經預計自己好有可能無法完賽。雖然最後港島段嚴重失利，但慶幸總算成功完賽，對自己算是有個交代。v162全程賽事非常好玩。能夠.....

Each year, the successful staging of Victoria 162 relies on the strong support of our partners and sponsors.
