If you can get yourself into shooting position, knees bent, plant foot forward, hands ready before you catch will allow you to go right up with your shot without resetting. This will allow you to get your shot off quicker but stay in rhythm as you shoot.

Look at games, not as something that you pass or fail but as a learning experience that will tell you what you need to practice.

Dear Parents & Members,

Truth and Loyalty is very important to me it is what we all want from our love ones, children and

friends. Sadly my right hand man took advantage of my trust and loyalty and I believe all of you

have the right to know the true of our internal matters in order for you not to be mislead by false

words.

This email is in reply to Cyrus departure email that he sent to all the parents of the children he

coached and did not coach. For the past few days, I have received many calls & emails from

some of the parents who did know the real motives of Cyrus departure & they have been asking

me to share both sides to all of our the parents.

The truth is that Cyrus did not leave LABA, he was fired for stealing, misleading, lying, and

working for another company while employed with me. For the past months Cyrus has been

working for LABA and secretly working for our competitor. Even though his (Cyrus) contract does

not allow him to do so he has worked for the other company while being paid by me.

Cyrus lied to me on many occasions, when I asked him if he wants to be in LABA he said yes.

When I asked him if he helped the competitor he said no but later I found out by the students of

those schools that he was the coach working for the competition. Each time he showed remorse

of his bad behavior and he promised me he will not do it again. I forgave him many times hoping

that he will change but it became even worse than I thought and with such of misconducts, I had

no choice but to let him go in order to protect the company & our members.

Before leaving the company, we discovered that he took copied all the personal information of our

members and he joined other company and that is how he was able to send out the mass email

on Monday to all the parents in LABA after he was fired the previous Friday.

Once again we hope he will not mislead any of you in the future & I am confident that you will

make a better decision before entrusting your child to anyone hands.

Thanks again for your supports & loyalty.

Yours In Basketball,

Getting your shot off quicker lies in what you do before you get into your shot. First is your thought process. You should know if you are going to have a shot opportunity before you even catch the ball. Know where your defense is, where your teammates are and be in an area you are comfortable shooting from before you catch the ball. Next, get your body into shooting position before you receive the ball. Catching, then putting the ball in shooting position, then getting low so you can explode into your shot takes too much time and adds too many moving parts to your shot. If you can get yourself into shooting position, knees bent, plant foot forward, hands ready before you catch will allow you to go right up with your shot without resetting. This will allow you to get your
shot off quicker but stay in rhythm as you shoot.
