An amazing day for our annual Jim Stynes cup 🏆, where we play and combine GAA & AFL.

Nice to get out playing again and to see some great games, skills & goals.

As some of you may already know our brother, teammate and coach, James Kenny, sadly passed away after a long cancer battle in November 2023, aged just 29 years old.

James's grave is situated beside those of two of his family members who also both passed away after their own cancer battles. His auntie, Louise Kenny Queally passed in 2017 aged 41 and his grandmother Kathleen Kenny passed in 2015 aged 65.

James' father, Jimmy, has recently started a fundraising campaign named 'Jerseys4James' to raise money for the Waterford Hospital Palliative Care Unit where James spent the last few weeks of his life. To launch this campaign an event has been organised in Kilkenny on Feb 4th, where prizes including some of James' old sports jerseys will be auctioned off. For those living overseas or unable to make the event night, the campaign is also accepting donations to its Revolut account. So far in only a few weeks, the donated total has reached an impressive e5000.

2024 Notice of Hong Kong GAA AGM, February 1st 2024

1. Meeting
This year’s AGM will be taking place in Delaney's TST at 19:00 on February 1st, 2024.

2. Nomination of Officers
The club invites members to nominate prospective members to the Executive Committee for the coming year.

Any club member is entitled to both nominate eligible members to serve on the committee and to serve on the committee themselves.

All nominations should be emailed to [email protected] by 10am on January 25th, 2024.

3. Motions for consideration at the A.G.M.
The club invites members to set forth any motions which they wish to have tabled at the Annual General Meeting.

Any club member is entitled to raise a motion.
