[Japan Training Camp 2025]

This July, our team once again headed to Toda Koen, training for 14 days in the beautiful blue waters of Japan's 戸田ボートコース .
This built our stamina, our techniques on the boat and built and strengthened the teams' bonds.

We also got the opportunity to meet Japanese rowing compatriots in Hosei University, Rikkyo University and Nippon Sport Science University. We learnt a lot from each other and made some wonderful memories.

This camp was the catalyst required to further HKU rowing team's conditioning. Both the boys and girls crews feel ready to take on this season's competitions.

[Shing Mun River Regatta l]

The HKU Rowing Club delivered a strong performance at the Shing Mun Regatta l. With multiple podium finishes across a range of boat classes, the club demonstrated its strength and depth.

The results are as follows:

[Summer Kick-off 2025]

This year's Summer was kicked-off by our esteemed guests of honour Dr. Michael Tse, Ms. Chi Wah Lau and Ms. Amy Lo.

The alumni also gave the incoming currents some valuable pieces of advice, and wished them luck on their journey.

This was a monumental milestone for the Freshmen to turn into Currents, and for New Executive Committee to start organizing events and slip into their roles.

Let's wish the HKU Rowing Team best of luck for the 2025-2026 season!!

[Green Regatta 2025]

We have once again reached the Green Regatta milestone, a freshman race annually organized by HKU, this year on 27 April.

Thank you to all participating universities!

The HKU contingent put out a strong score, with it's medal tally as follows-

It is the last 1k race of the season, and the crews now set their eyes on the longer races, preparing for the summer kickoff!

[ Hong Kong Indoor Rowing Championship and Charity Rowathon 2025 ]

The HKIRC took place from 29-30 March, with the HKU contingent achieving an absolutely spectacular result! Our crews earned themselves 7 medals-

The alumni team also joined us on the Rowathon, displaying their passion and grit on the erg!

This was the final crescendo as the indoor season comes to an end, and the team looks to conquer fine rowing- Best of luck team!!

[20th Hong Kong University Indoor Rowing Championship]

[The 9th Harbour Regatta]

Some of our rowers participated in the Harbour Regatta earlier this month. Thank you to all the rowers who put in their utmost effort in the competition. Well done to the M2X for achieving first 🥇 and W4X+ for achieving second 🥈 in the race!

The second station of the Universities Indoor Rowing Championships was held in CUHK. We came back strong and achieved great results:

Founded in 1981, HKU Rowing Club is the oldest university boat club in Hong Kong. We train regularly on the Shing Mun River, condition in the gym, and use ergo machines too! ️Our experienced rowers will guide you through the basics, so no prior experience is needed!
