The 4th Discovery Bay Open Water Race Challenge & Family Relay is an open water swim race welcoming swimmers of all abilities. The race day consists of 3 solo swim races (3.8km, 1.7km, and 400m), and a 400m swim relay. We emphasize on a friendly racing atmosphere, welcoming all swimmers from beginners to the elites racing in an epic scenic setting at Discovery Bay.

活動性質：公開水域泳賽

第四屆愉景灣渡海泳賽及親子接力賽為公開水域泳賽, 提供3.8公里 / 1.7 公里 / 400m 個人賽 及 400m 接力賽。比賽起步分別位於迪士尼碼頭，三白灣沙灘和大白灣沙灘，終點在愉景灣之主沙灘 - 大白灣沙灘。 我們着重愉快的競賽氣氛， 鼓勵新加入之泳手以致資深泳手參加。

Thank you for coming to the Hong Kong 4 Beaches Open Water Swim Event 2026! The weather changed its mind at the last minute (we had already drafted Plan B and C the night before!) and turned in our favor, although the water conditions were a bit challenging and far from prime. Thanks for being so accommodating!
We will take every bit of feedback to heart to make this event better next year.

蔚藍大海，波濤洶湧🌊，5月24日舉行嘅2026 熨波洲渡海泳賽@openwaterswimserieshk 再次見證咗一眾泳手嘅汗水同毅力💪🏻。喺呢場被譽為「水中馬拉松」嘅考驗入邊，泳手們到底要如何脫穎而出？今次【運動科學站】特別邀請到賽事嘅Race Director 黎智樂 Sophia ，以及男子三冠王鍾天朗 🏅 為大家拆解渡海泳同體組成之間嘅奧秘🔍️！
渡海泳對選手心肺功能、體能要求極高🫀，要有高強度嘅有氧耐力支撐長時間活動，而體組成亦係影響表現嘅關鍵：
🏊🏻體脂肪率：渡海泳選手體脂唔係越低越好！適量嘅體脂可提供浮力，同時喺低溫嘅開放水域中保暖，防止失溫🌡️。
🏊🏻四肢肌肉：要長時期划手、踢腳對四肢肌耐力要求高。如果左右半身肌肉量有明顯差距，容易「游歪」而消耗更多體力↗️。
🏊🏻核心肌肉：強大嘅核心肌肉可以幫助身體喺波浪中保持流線型，對抗水阻🆚。
🏆 三冠王Jose 的心得
Jose 之前發現自己嘅背闊肌相較其他泳手弱，所以佢根據客觀數據📈，針對特定部位訓練從而對症下改善表現。
Jose 亦指出長距離游泳中段身體容易下沉⤵️，呢個時候需要靠核心肌肉發力幫助身體保持浮力；而寬闊嘅雙肩更係泳手喺開放水域中抵禦海浪、保持穩定嘅最強後盾🛡️。
面對大自然嘅考驗，我哋無法控制風浪，但係可以掌握自己嘅身體🌟！了解體組成喺渡海泳中扮演嘅角色，將憑感覺嘅練習轉為參考數據嘅精準投資，制定最具效益嘅訓練，先可以提升表現，突破極限✨！

「香港四灘（HK4B）公開水域游泳」將在香港最美麗的海灘所在地——大浪西灣舉行。大浪西灣曾獲選為「香港十大自然勝景」的第一名。大浪灣擁有白色的沙灘、清澈的海水和翠綠環繞的山脈，在這個摩天大樓林立的城市裡，簡直就是世外桃源。我們的3300米項目讓泳客可以一次過暢遊4個壯麗的海灘：西灣、鹹田灣、大灣和東灣。此外，活動亦設有中距離的「香港四灘快線（HK 4 Beaches Express）」，提供由鹹田灣至西灣的1400米公開水域游泳體驗。

A mid-range option, the HK 4 Beaches Express—a 1,400m open water swim from Ham Tin to Sai Wan—is also av available.
