In the inaugural contests of the Hong Kong Water Polo League's men's division, Happy Valley emerged victorious, led by the formidable duo of Ching Tsz Tsun and Wong Ting Hang, who amassed 27 goals between them, culminating in a 28-6 win over Everbright. Concurrently, Wreck's To To Toby delivered a seven-goal performance, contributing to a 19-6 win against Dali with the support of five scoring players. Ching Tsz Tsun of Happy Valley and Toby To of Wrecks were distinguished as the Most Valuable Players of the matches.

香港水球聯賽揭幕戰，男子組的愉園憑程梓舜及黃廷鏗兩入一起攻入27球，最終以28-6 擊敗永光，而另一場域司杜韜攻入7球及5名球員同時得分下，以19-6勝出比賽，賽後愉園的程梓舜及域司的杜韜獲選為本場最有價值球員。
