In memory of Wilson Chan
A highly valued captain and friend of HKUST Water Polo Team

The grief of Wilson’s sad and far too early demise on 7 April 2021, is being felt in the entire HKUST Water Polo Team. His passing has left a hole in our hearts.

Wilson was our team captain from 2009 to 2012, leading the team to inter-varsity water polo championships every year. Even after his graduation, he has always been devoting himself to our team, committing to trainings and guiding our current team players as a proud alumus.

Wilson was a highly valued and respected member of HKUST Water Polo Team. His enormous enthusiasm in the sport has greatly motivated his team. He will always be remembered here for his optimistic words and cheering voice that echoed through the lanes and nets, and his smile that simply lit up the pool.

An empty spot has been left in the heart of the HKUST Water Polo Team but what also remains is a memory and legacy that will live long in our team.

We will be thinking of you, Wilson.
