We are so excited for Emma’s 4 week course on Strength and Alignment starting next week! In this course, we will practice body reading, and look at how our individual postural alignment affects our yoga practice. We will then dive into which poses and alignment cues best support which postural alignments. This is a great chance to learn more about your own body, and how you can create more balance and freedom of movement with your yoga practice.
You will definitely get the most out of this course if you can attend all 4 classes, but if you can’t attend all 4, we have opened it up so that you can attend the ones you are able to. In each class we will focus on one body part, we will look at postural imbalances for that area of the body, and yoga poses that will support specific structural imbalances.
Week 1: common postural misalignments of the hips, and how to correct

This is a fun one! Kids will get to make their own hula hoops, and then learn a whole bunch of tricks with them! They will get to take the hula hoops home with them, so they can keep practicing and having fun!
