諗住入去community centre 參觀下， 咁啱見到個籃球場開左又無人打， 就問下職員， 佢話係青年時段， 無人俾我地打一陣。
個場光線光足， 地下乾淨，York 區時設施係好d既。 有d spare 波俾人用， 無哂氣既， 好在問職員佢都肯幫我搵個揼 充返氣。牆邊有4個框， 可以校高低， 啱小朋友玩。

Lee個cc仲有壁球室， 泳池， 溜冰場， 都幾齊全。

打完諗住check 返gym 開放schedule ， 但係上網搵唔到，可能要register返Vaughan 既lesuire website 先睇到，煩煩地。 Toronto 既community centre就易搵好多。

I was planning to just check out the community centre, and I happened to see that the basketball court was open and completely empty. So I asked the staff, and they said it was youth hours, but since nobody was around, they let us play for a bit.

​The court was well-lit and the floor was clean—facilities in York Region really are better. They had some spare balls for people to use, but they were totally deflated. Luckily, when I asked the staff, they were willing to help me find a pump to fill them up. There were also four hoops along the walls that you can adjust the height of, which is great for kids.

​After playing, I wanted to check the gym's open schedule, but I couldn't find it online. You probably have to register for Vaughan's leisure website just to see it, which is a bit of a hassle. The Toronto community centre schedules are way easier to find

第一次入場睇WNBA
多倫多首支WNBA球隊 Toronto Tempo （香港人應該對Tempo有好親切既感覺）2026新成立， 今場係今季第2場比賽。 今場多倫多主場， 喺Coca Cola Coliseum （唔係Raptors既Scotia Bank Arena) 比賽。 場館比Raptors 細， 票價會平dd。我前日見有平飛$39/張 ，三連位， 就一家人入場見識下。但係缺點就遠d ，喺Exhibition （即係CNE嗰度）。

主場氣氛熱烈， 大家都好投入， 甚至我覺得比Raptors 更好氣氛。 最後打破我入場睇波主隊必輸既魔咒， Toronto Tempo 贏10分以上完場， 全場氣氛推至高峰。

好在坐Section 107， 喺出口旁， 一完場即走啱啱趕到Shuttle Bus。 （好多人趕唔切）

買飛就用ticket master (由5月1 日起， 政府立法唔可以抄黃牛， 有好有唔好。 唔好既係Ticketmaster 唔會再有黃牛買， 日後唔知邊度買飛好）

​First Time Watching a WNBA Game Live!
​Toronto's very first WNBA team, the Toronto Tempo (a name that probably feels super familiar to Hong Kongers! 🟥🧻), is newly established for the 2026 season, and today was only their second game of the season.
​It was a home game for Toronto, held at the Coca-Cola Coliseum instead of the Raptors' Scotiabank Arena. The venue is smaller than the Raptors' arena, so the ticket prices are a bit cheaper.

Two days ago, I spotted some budget-friendly tickets for just $39 each for three seats in a row, so I grabbed them to take the family out and experience it for ourselves. The only downside is that it's a bit far, located over at Exhibition (where the CNE is held).
​The atmosphere at the home court was absolutely electric!

Everyone was incredibly into it—honestly, I felt the vibe was even better than at a Raptors game. In the end, it actually broke my personal jinx of "the home team always loses whenever I watch live." The Toronto Tempo won by over 10 points, sending the crowd's energy through the roof by the final buzzer.
​Luckily, we were sitting in Section 107, right next to the exit. We dashed out the moment the game ended and managed to catch the shuttle bus just in time (a lot of people couldn't make it).
​As for buying tickets, I used Ticketmaster. (Starting May 1st, the government passed a law banning ticket scalping. There are pros and cons to this. The downside is that you won't find scalped tickets on Ticketmaster anymore, so I'm not really sure where the best place to buy tickets will be in the future).

今日帶prep school 幾位15至18歲同學黎train 2 小時 ， train 完我都好鬼攰， 真係唔夠後生仔咁好體力。

This is a private training gym and basketball court. The court itself is on the narrower side, and the length is a bit short as well, but luckily the flooring is decent. Right next to it is a small gym area where you can squeeze in some strength and conditioning work.

​Today, I brought a few 15 to 18-year-old students from a prep school here for a 2-hour training session. I'm absolutely exhausted after wrapping things up—I really can't keep up with the energy levels of these younger kids anymore!

今星期開始喺度帶成人隊， 個場比相像中好。雖然長度唔算標準， 短左total 2米到， 好在闊度係標準既， 所以練波影響不大。

地板好好， 一d都唔跣， 有賴於清潔工打掃得好好。

​I started coaching an adult team here this week, and the court is actually better than I expected. Although the length isn't quite standard (it's about 2 meters short in total), the width is standard, so it doesn't really affect training much.
​The flooring is excellent and not slippery at all, which is a credit to the janitorial staff for keeping it so well-cleaned.

Lee 度既室外場， 係我係加拿大第一個見到即籃球場。 今日竟然可以喺佢既Gym 開埋班， 教local 小朋友教波， 真係好神奇。

個場其實好細，好窄。場邊仲有個鋼琴， 教波時成日怕d 小朋友撞埋去， 所以成日企喺前面做人肉圍欄。

籃框高度又無得校返低少少，所以有d 小朋友都射唔到框。

The outdoor court here was the very first basketball court I saw when I arrived in Canada. It feels truly amazing to actually be running classes in their gym today, coaching local kids.
​The court itself is actually quite small and narrow. There is even a piano sitting right by the sidelines; I’m constantly worried the kids will crash into it, so I often find myself standing in front of it acting as a human barrier.
​The hoops also aren't adjustable, so they can't be lowered. Because of that, some of the smaller children struggle to even reach the rim when they shoot.

位於出名遊客區，唔明白都係整得咁求其， 地下無顏色都算， 連三分線／邊線都無畫， 真心唔明白。
對比其他球場， Lee 度都算比較多人黎打， 點解唔整好d 呢？ 隔離個公園都整得好好， 整好d個籃球場咁難?

This is located in a very famous tourist area, so I really don't understand why it was built so half-heartedly. I can overlook the lack of color on the ground, but there aren't even any three-point lines or sidelines painted. I honestly don't get it.
​Compared to other courts, this one actually gets quite a lot of people coming to play. Why wouldn't they maintain it better? The park right next to it is beautifully done—is it really that hard to fix up the basketball court?

去到Ottawa， 都搵下籃球場睇下同多倫多有無分別。 其實Google 過， 整體都一樣咁差。 不過 lee個算幾靚仔， 地下靚之餘， 個籃框可以校高低 ， 不過應該似要用特別工具去校。

While visiting Ottawa, I decided to check out some basketball courts to see if they were any different from the ones in Toronto. To be honest, I’d Googled it beforehand, and the overall quality seems to be just as poor. However, this one is actually quite "handsome." Besides the nice surface, the hoops are adjustable, though it looks like you’d need a special tool to change the height.
