A huge congratulations to our women's team for getting the silver medals for the Bangkok Water Polo Invitational Cup 2024! With a lead of 3:0, the team fought hard against the hosting team, CAC from Thailand, and lost the game by 17:10 as 3 of our key players have been ejected from the game.

That's a wrap for the year, we are very proud of our ladies and we look forward seeing them fight again in the upcoming competitions in 2025. Let's go HKGWP!!🔥

After our men’s team fought hard in Bangkok and secured 5th place, it’s time for our women’s team to strive for glory! They have already achieved three victories in the round robin stage against teams from Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Singapore—what a fantastic beginning! Tomorrow, the team will compete against CAC from Thailand twice as for the finals. We wish them the best of luck and eagerly await their good news!

Our men’s team achieved a solid 5th place out of 10 at the Bangkok Water Polo Invitational Cup, showcasing their skills and teamwork throughout the tournament. They faced tough opponents and displayed resilience in several matches. While they didn’t secure the top position, their performance highlighted their potential and provided valuable experience for future competitions. With continued dedication, the team aims to improve and rise in their upcoming competitions.

Here's the latest on our men's team participating in the Bangkok Water Polo Invitational Cup 2024: the team ended up 3rd in their group in the preliminary round by finishing with the score of 10-5 against H.E.T. from Singapore. They'll be vying for positions 5th-8th later today and tomorrow. Wishing our men's team the best of luck!

The Panasonic USFHK Men's Water Polo Competition 2024/25 took place successfully at the HKSI Swimming Pool over the weekend! This exciting two-day event featured top-level matches between universities. Yuen Ting Lun from PolyU earned the MVP title, while Ching Tsz Shun, also from PolyU, scored an impressive 19 goals, making him the Top Scorer of the competition. With their outstanding performances, the PolyU Team defended their title and emerged as the champions once again!

- **Champion:** The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
- **1st Runner-up:** The University of Hong Kong
- **2nd Runner-up:** The Chinese University of Hong Kong

觀塘區首屆兒童非撞式水球同樂日 八隊健兒齊享水球樂趣

中國香港游泳總會(泳總)及觀塘民政事務處於本月初（十二月一日）在藍田游泳池舉辦了「觀塘區兒童非撞式水球比賽暨同樂日」，藉以推廣並鼓勵區內兒童參與水球運動。同時為2025年11月在粵港澳大灣區舉行之第十五屆全國運動會打氣，活動吸引了八支代表隊參與，參賽者年齡介乎於8至12歲。很多小朋友及家長都是首次接觸非撞式水球這項運動，此活動同時吸引過百支持者到場為健兒打氣。

各隊首先在泳總安排的教練下進行了約一小時的陸上及水中水球體驗活動。之後八隊教練親自參與表演賽為活動熱身。其後小運動員便展開共十二場比賽，比賽期間，不少區議員及觀塘區各界代表出席賽事的開球禮。現場打氣聲不絕，球員全力以赴，與隊友配合爭取勝利。杯賽冠軍為永光水球會，碟賽冠軍為The Hong Kong Marlins Aquatic Club。

立法會議員鄧家彪先生、觀塘民政事務助理專員張家朗先生、中國香港游泳總會水球委員會主席王啟熙醫生及康樂及文化事務署觀塘區康樂事務經理吳見青女士出席頒獎禮及擔任主禮嘉賓。鄧家彪議員先生致辭時表示觀塘區一直支持不同類型的文娛體育社區活動，令觀塘區成為更有活力的社區。他亦期望市民能夠一起投入明年在粵港澳大灣區舉行之第十五屆全國運動會，為運動會健兒打氣。觀塘民政事務助理專員張家朗先生樂見小朋友積極參與水球運動。他表示觀塘區將會在未來一年繼續舉辦不同類型的體育活動，迎接全國運動會的來臨！中國香港游泳總會水球委員會主席王啟熙醫生感謝觀塘民政事務處一同合辦這次活動，亦感謝觀塘區議會，贊助商的支持，以及一眾教練，球證及工作人員的幫助，全活動能圓滿舉行。他期望將來能夠與不同人士繼續合作，舉辦各類型的水球推廣活動，令大家享受到水球的樂趣。

What an exhilarating day for Hong Kong China Water Polo! The 23rd HKGSA Invitational Water Polo Championship was successfully held this past Saturday, featuring many thrilling moments! We hope all our participants had a great time, and we anticipate even more teams joining us next school year. Surely can't wait!

A huge congratulations to Kong Cheuk Kiu of Happy Valley and Devina Hung of Dali for being awarded the Most Valuable Player of the Game!

Happy Valley and Diocesans achieved consecutive victories in the men’s league match. Ching Tsz Tsun and Tsang Ho Lam performed well again, and both were selected as the match MVP awards winner.
