Dino Basketball Camp

Hópur foreldra og iðkenda í körfuknattleiksdeild Álftaness fóru í annað sinn í körfuboltabúðir Dino Stipcic, sem fara fram árlega á hinni glæsilegu eyju Rab við strendur Króatíu. Að þessu sinni fór 9. flokkur drengja en ásamt Álftnesingum voru fjölmörg önnur lið með iðkendur í búðunum. Dagskráin í körfuboltabúðunum var þétt og með fjölbreyttu sniði. Til viðbótar við stífar körfuboltaæfingar í umsjá reynslumikilla þjálfara var synt í sjónum, farið í bátsferð og þess stórkostlega umhverfis sem er á eyjunni Rab notið. Fyrir foreldra er dásamlegt að dvelja á eyjunni Rab en gamli bærinn á sér langa og merkilega sögu. Eyjan var mikilvæg fyrir verslun fyrr á öldum og stóðu feneyskir kaupmenn fyrir mikilli uppbyggingu á eyjunni frá fimmtándu öld og fram til átjándu aldar sem stendur enn í dag. Á göngu um eyjuna má hverfa inn í þennan heim þar sem byggingar hafa varðveist einstaklega vel. Sterkt einkenni eyjarinnar eru svo fjórir turnar sem byggðir voru yfir nokkrar aldir og voru kirkjur eða klaustur (sjá mynd). Þá er gott að stinga sér í fagurblátt Adríahafið við eyjuna þar sem náttúrufegurðin er mikil og hægt að leigja sér taxi-bát til að ferðast á milli eyja. Álftnesingar þakka fyrir sig og dvölina á eyjunni Rab. Áfram körfubolti!

The Camp Dino Summer League brought the excitement of a real basketball season to our outdoor courts. Campers competed in mixed teams of boys and girls, enjoying fast-paced games, great teamwork, and friendly competition. With a fantastic summer atmosphere, every game was filled with energy, passion, and unforgettable moments.

From high-intensity games and skill development to tactical discussions and one-on-one coaching, our campers are constantly challenged to become better players and even better teammates. Every drill, every possession, and every conversation is another step in their basketball journey.
