Great news! After successful kick-off of reshaping gender narratives for and in media, our proposal for mobility of sport staff is approved by Croatian National Agency. Job shadowing in 2027 will enable direct observation of governance mechanisms that
support gender-balanced leadership and inclusive organisational culture in Murska Sobota.

Women in Sport kicked off today in Zagreb. Partners met to discuss tasks and create detailed plan of the activities.
The project unfolds in four phases: capacity-building, national implementation, transnational knowledge exchange, and sustainability, with a strong emphasis on digital learning via the ReFrame Learning Hub tackling the underrepresentation and misrepresentation of women in sports media by equipping female athletes, coaches, sports administrators, and journalists with the skills to engage confidently with the media and challenge gender bias.

Women represent 55% of all EU students, yet in sport studies, they’re still underrepresented: only 2 women for every 5 men.

📊 Meanwhile, sport students make up just 1.4% of all EU students across the bloc.

💡 Sport is growing fast, but there’s still plenty of room for more women to get in the game!
