đ AFRIKA - Budapest Bamako Rally 2026. ĂSSZEGZĂS đȘ
Az Ă©lmĂ©nyek ĂŒlepednek bennĂŒnk Ă©s vĂĄltoznak az Ă©rzĂ©sek is. BĂŒszkĂ©k vagyunk, hogy fizikailag Ă©s mentĂĄlisan is kibĂrtuk ezt a nem könnyƱ utat, bĂŒszkĂ©k vagyunk SĂSĂ-re a Land Roverre, aki lehetĆvĂ© t***e, hogy lejussunk Freetown-ba, megtĂ©ve több mint 9100 km-t! Ezen Ășt alatt Ă©rt minket sok pozitĂv Ă©lmĂ©ny, amely örömöt okozott, megismertĂŒnk remek embereket, megtanultuk, hogy olyan helyrĆl is kaphatunk segĂtsĂ©get, ahonnan nem is szĂĄmĂtunk rĂĄ. LĂĄttuk Afrika szĂ©psĂ©geit Ă©s nyomorĂĄt is.
Afrika sokszĂnƱ, lenyƱgöz, nyomaszt Ă©s borzasztĂł mĂ©lysĂ©g, magassĂĄg jellemzi. Nem szeretnĂ©nk moralizĂĄlni, filozofĂĄlni Ă©s a generĂĄciĂłkon ĂĄtĂvelĆ környezet Ă©s egĂ©szsĂ©gpusztĂtĂł Ă©letmĂłd gyökereit feszegetni, a felzĂĄrkĂłzĂĄs, oktatĂĄs nyomait is alig-alig lĂĄtva.
Ami a legfontosabb:
đ KöszönjĂŒk a csalĂĄdjainknak, Ă©s a barĂĄtainknak, hogy lehetĆvĂ© tettĂ©k, ennyi idĆre tĂĄvol lehessĂŒnk Ă©s megĂ©lhessĂŒk a kalandjainkat! KöszönjĂŒk, a sok embernek, akik követtek minket, drukkoltak, amikor Ășgy nĂ©zett ki, nem tudjuk folytatni, akik erĆt adtak, amikor elfĂĄradtunk, aki bĂztattak, hogy menjĂŒnk tovĂĄbb. Nagyon jĂłl esett!
Az afrikai kalandozĂĄs Ă©s a Budapest - Bamako Rally-t most lezĂĄrjuk, de hiszĂŒnk abban, amit az autĂł oldalĂĄn lĂĄthattatok: Life is an adventure - ĂJ KALANDOK JĂNNEK!

đ AFRICA â Budapest Bamako Rally 2026. SUMMARY đȘ
The experiences are settling within us, and our feelings are evolving as well. We are proud that we endured this far-from-easy journey both physically and mentally. We are proud of SĂSĂ, the Land Rover, who made it possible for us to reach Freetown, covering more than 9,100 km!
During this journey, we had many positive experiences that brought us joy. We met wonderful people and learned that help can come from places we would never expect. We witnessed both the beauty and the hardship of Africa.
Africa is diverse â fascinating, overwhelming, and marked by tremendous depths and heights. We do not wish to moralize or philosophize about the roots of environmentally and health-damaging lifestyles passed down through generations, especially when we barely see signs of progress or education. Everyone came to West Africa voluntarily, yet as Europeans we encountered challenges and problems we had never experienced before. At times, we felt that some people did not look kindly upon our presence. Fear and the search for safety occasionally wove their way into our adventure.
The BudapestâBamako Rally is not a comfortable trip. Everyone must solve their own difficulties and reach each dayâs destination from Camp âAâ to Camp âBâ by coordinates. Along the way, you can get stuck, have a flat tire, or break down. The navigation system can go crazy, locals may throw stones, and you must drive hundreds of kilometers on stretches that only barely resemble roads or asphalt. You have to encourage and âcaressâ the car so it doesnât fall apart â we almost felt sorry for it on the red, dusty âroadsâ of Guinea, which were more like a sea of potholes. (A 270 km section took over 10 hours!)
So yes, itâs a tough journey, full of ups and downs â ocean shores and people struggling on garbage dumps, many children we couldnât help simply because we physically couldnât carry enough supplies with us. We wonât miss the corruption that seems to permeate everything due to local conditions, but we will definitely miss the thrill of discovery.
It feels good that we accomplished it â weâll even tell our grandchildren about it one day. Right now, we feel that if we were to embark on another desert off-road adventure, we might return as far as Morocco, but probably not further south.
Who knows what the future holds â weâll seeâŠ
Most importantly:
đ Thank you to our families and friends for making it possible for us to be away for so long and live our adventure. Thank you to everyone who followed us, cheered for us when it seemed we couldnât continue, gave us strength when we were tired, and encouraged us to keep going. It meant a lot to us!
We are now closing this African adventure and the BudapestâBamako Rally chapter, but we believe in what you saw written on the side of our car:
Life is an adventure â NEW ADVENTURES ARE COMING!
