We train women in impoverished pockets of Bali how to weave the yoga mats. They get to stay home with their children and work at their own pace while making good wages that help their family.
I had a nice visit with Illu today ( our first Weaver ). Illu has been weaving for Yana for over a year now. She dedicated herself to learning and has become so good at it. I’m really proud of her. Now she is also helping to train our new weavers.
