U13 E league.
Park rangers V Abbeyside
Our u13s took to the field on a drizzly Saturday morning at "The Glen", to take on Park Rangers. With the bare minimum of 11 players available, the morning felt a whole lot darker after 8 minutes when we found ourselves 2-0 down.
Like flicking a switch, the visitors roared back into the game. Lev struck twice in the following 10 minutes using his pace to break the defensive lines and finish confidently.
Like two heavyweights going toe to toe, these teams continued to trade blows, with Lev putting his side into the lead, but the home team leveled again before half time.
The second half began as the first had ended, with attack and counter attack. Abbeysides defence held their discipline, springing the offside trap time and again. The scoring pattern continued, this time Victor capitalising on a defensive mix up to find the net and soon after Park Rangers were level again.
As the determination of each team only seemed to be increasing, it looked like the points would be shared until up stepped Calvin Organ to confidently finish a great team move, much to the delight of players, coaches and the traveling supporters.
The remaining minutes were tense but each player stuck to their tasks and saw out the game, claiming a 5-4 victory.

π΄β« U11 CUP SEMI FINAL RESULT π΄β«
A huge day in Dogleaf Park as Abbeyside U11s booked their place in the Cup Final with a brilliant 2-0 victory over Piltown in difficult wet conditions! π§οΈβ½
Abbeyside started the stronger side, but credit to Piltown who grew into the game and made it a real battle from start to finish. It wasnβt until the 19th minute that the deadlock was broken, when Michael Duggan unleashed a fantastic strike to put Abbeyside 1-0 up! ππ₯
The second half followed the same pattern, with two excellent teams battling hard for a place in the final. Abbeyside struck again when Thomas Nagle rose highest to power home a superb header and make it 2-0! β½π
Piltown pushed hard to get themselves back into the game, but the Abbeyside backline stood tall and dealt with every challenge thrown at them πͺ
Massive congratulations to all the Abbeyside players on reaching the Cup Final β the first Abbeyside School Boy team to achieve this in over 20 years! β€οΈπ€
