The Achill Island Potttery has been on Achill Island since 1960. Over the years thousands of visitors have called in and hundreds of people have worked here.
The pottery was started by Fergil's parents, Joe and Mary Colohan and is now continued each summer by Fergil and Ger.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone. Like a lot of people we are missing Achill this St Patrick's Day.
Congratulations to Keel Pipe Band on their 75th Anniversary.
Thank you to everyone who put so much work into posting pictures memories and events to make us feel like we are home.
We are looking forward to the Achill virtual parade in the morning.

Hi everyone- we won’t be opening the Pottery at all this Summer. As some of you may know we both work in healthcare and it won’t be possible to get the time this year. We hope everybody stays safe and has a good Summer wherever you are. We hope to see you all again soon.

Achill Pottery was very up to date in 1969. My Dad made this little pendant exactly fifty years ago to commemorate the first man on the moon...
