U12 Girls Premier League.

Corrib Celtic 1 vs Barna 0.
Sunday, 13th Sept 2026.

Corrib Celtic played their first league game in the U12 Premier against Barna, and what a performance from the girls! 👏⚽️

Goalkeeper Aoibheann
A fantastic performance between the posts today. She made some really important saves when called upon, getting down well to the ball and showing great reactions.

Defence – Kate, Eireann, Sinead & Lucy
Our defence were outstanding, showing great strength, determination and composure. They made important tackles and the communication between the girls was excellent, and they never stopped working for each other.

⚽️ Midfield – Lauren, Willow, Addison and Olivia
Our midfield worked tirelessly, showing great energy, passing, movement and work rate. They competed for every ball and covered so much ground.

A special mention to Willow, who scored the winning goal ⚽️

Forwards – Shauna and Anna & Mai
Our forwards showed great pace, movement and determination, constantly looking to create opportunities and putting pressure on the Barna defence.

There was great teamwork and a fantastic effort. Well done, girls 👏

U15 Girls Div 2.

Colga 4 - Corrib 2.
Sunday, 6th Sept 2026.

The first game of the season ended with a loss for Corrib, but the girls put in a good performance, and were unlucky to loose.
Corrib fell behind, but struck back with a well taken goal from Aoibhinn Murphy ⚽️.
Both teams had chances, but Colga took the lead again, and then right on half time made it 3-1.

Corrib kept playing and applying pressure in the second half and got back to 3-2 with a brilliant free kick scored by Ciara Barrett ⚽️.
Corrib were pressing and really tried their best to get level but Colga scored a 4th just before full time.

The girls put in great effort today, with great performances from all but particularly Leah Mannion and Ciara Barrett.

U15 girls Championship.

Kiltullagh 0 v Corrib Celtic 1.
Sunday, 6th Sept 2026.

The first half of this game was a scrappy one with the wind playing a part in making it hard to control the ball.
Neither team created a clear chance in the first period .

In the second half Corrib Celtic began to play themselves into the game .
Maia Forde had a free kick come back off the post and from the rebound Saoirse Keville had a shot which was stopped by the keeper.
With about 10 minutes to go Mia O Neill ran onto a good through ball and was taken down in the box . Holly Mulroe stepped up and slotted the penalty low into the corner of the net ⚽️.
On the day the defence on both teams played very well with Ciara Walsh playing center back for Corrib and one of the Kiltullagh center backs both outstanding.
Overall a very even game with Corrib Celtic just about shading it .

Corrib Celtic’s U13 boys got their Premier League campaign underway with a 0–0 draw away to Moyne Villa.
