Congratulations to all our nominated athletes who attended the Louth Athletics Awards 2026 last night!

As usual these incredible juvenile athletes represented our club brilliantly and we could not be prouder, of the work they do and the athletes they are.

Georgina Drumm interviewed athletic champion Kate O’connor who began her career with Louth athletics. Kate was then presented with the overall athlete of the year. A little later than normal with this update, but what an amazing morning we had on Sunday at the Louth Uneven Age Cross Country Championships in Darver!

A special mention and massive congratulations to Rory Cousins on taking a brilliant 1st place in the Novice race, his first win with the club.

Ardee & District A.C. put on a fantastic showing across the board, from our senior runners right down to our youngest juveniles. It was super displays of athleticism, grit, and team spirit all around, with fantastic performances and plenty of well-deserved medals brought home to Ardee!

Every single athlete is getting stronger and stronger as the season goes on. A huge well done to everyone who came out and represented the club so proudly!

Thank you to everyone who ran, volunteered, supported and helped make the Seamie Weldon Memorial 5K & 10K such a special day.
