A fantastic evening at the All Ireland Schools Championships in Tullamore! 🏆💥
🥇🥇 Two All Ireland Schools Gold Medals for Chloe Carney and Paddy McGovern in the Junior Hammer Throw events!
🔥 Chloe Carney produced a superb performance, securing the championship title in the 5th round with a huge PB of 52.19m. Even more impressive, Chloe will be eligible for the Junior Girls category again next year. An incredible achievement and a well-deserved All Ireland title! 👏🏆
🔥 Paddy McGovern continued his excellent progress with the 4kg hammer, launching a throw of 51.08m in round 5 to move into 1st place and claim his very first All Ireland Schools Gold Medal. What a moment! 💪🥇
👏 Congratulations also to Sheila Croal, who finished an excellent 4th place with a new PB of 41.69m. A fantastic achievement, and we wish Sheila the very best as she returns to action tomorrow in the Junior Girls Shot Put competition.
😊 Big smiles all around from coach Paddy Hanily, and a huge thank you to both Paddy and Alan Holland for their dedication, guidance, and support throughout the season.

Huge congratulations to our thrower Tehan Stander on an outstanding performance at the North Leinster & Leinster Track & Field schools in Santry and Tullamore this month.
Tehan brought home an incredible 2 gold medals in Shot Put 🏅 and discus 🥇 in the inter boys throws.

More fantastic throws from Tullamore today where Paddy McGovern of St Pats Navan -threw a whopper 53.35 4kg hammer in the Junior boys competition.
A superb PB for Paddy where he had great competition in a talented field but he really delivered and had a great performance to secure gold 🥇and his 1st Leinster Schools title.
Congratulations Paddy 🔥👏🏻☺️ Wishing him best of luck in All Ireland’s next week 🦾

A 9 year old championship record has finally been broken by Chloe Carney of Coláiste Clavin this morning in Tullamore at the Leinster Schools in the junior girls hammer with a throw of 46.81m. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Sheila Croal of Athboy Community School and Bohermeen AC also had a brilliant performance with a PB of 39.44 in the same competition which saw some impressive talent in the field from all access Leinster. 🔥
Both girls have now qualified for School All Irelands next week.
