After 9 weeks of waiting, we finally have a winner. Having gone down to our last 3 last weekend, each picked a winner. For the midweek round of fixtures, Alan went with Brighton who got out played by Forest. Dylan went with Southampton who couldn't help themselves in their battle for relegation and lost 1-0 to Bournemouth. Eithne who saved herself some of the big hitters for the last few rounds of fixtures went with Aston Villa who's win has made her our official Winner. 👏 🏆 💰

Our final league game end in a good win against a team battling for league honours this season. 2 goals from Danny McManus and 1 from Corey Jinks gave us the 3 points in a game we went behind in twice. Melville fc extends its deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Paul Murphy who passed away recently. Paul had previously played with Melville United, terrible news for the local football family. May he rest in peace 🙏
