These are times which are causing so much fear, anxiety and misery. What is important is that you dont add to it more. Do your bit.
Focus on how you can work with the fears. Dont deny them. Accept your fears and choose to deal with them in a positive way.
3 things to Avoid
x spreading messages which will instill more unnecessary fear and panic.
x binge / mindless feeding your body and mind with things which are nor healthy
x gossiping with friends on politics around the situation and moving your energies into blame game. Avoid making fun of or condemninjudging others for what they are doing and what they are doing.
3 Must dos
x Take good care of yourself Physically, mentally, emotionally and recharge yourself with some good rest.
x Take constructive action to contribute and extend your help. If you cant do something physically, then try contributing financially and also Chant, Pray, Meditate for well being of your loved ones and for the entire society. Send loving and healing energies to all.
x Follow all the guidelines provided by regulatory bodies and take all necessary precautions.
Stay Safe. Stay at home.

There is so much power in Collective Prayer. Our beautiful Yoga Sangha group and few others are doing a Chanting and Meditation for Covid situation to settle down in India. If you wish to join the collective prayer, pls do so from the comfort of your home. Lets chant, pray and Meditate for well being of all in India.

Date and Time - 26th April to 28th April 8pm to 8:30pm India time.
We have suggested a format for the prayer but if you dont resonate with the chants, you could do your own personalized prayer. The point is to create a healing field for India's Covid situation.

Mahamrityunjay mantra 108 times
Shanti mantra - 7 times
Followed by meditation - Minimum 5 mins (depends on each one)

Meaning:
Om. We pray The Three-Eyed Lord Shiva who is fragrant and who increasingly nourishes the devotees. Worshipping him may we be liberated from death for the sake of immortality just as the ripe cucumber easily separates itself from the binding stalk
Importance/Benefits:
It is the collection of high-energy words when chanted in proper rhythm creates positive and divine vibrations around the body of the chanter which acts as a protective shield for the devotee.
- Mahamrityunjaya Mantra is the life-saving mantra from untimely death or any fear.
- This is the most powerful healing mantra which has been adopted from ancient times till now.
- It has been tested on patients when all medical treatments failed and chanting or playing the mantra around the patient has done wonders in their lives.

Yoga as we all know is wholistic and not just a physical practice. A complete lifestyle shift. Ofcourse some people just focus on the Asana and pranayama practice but that is a very small component of the Yogic Philosophy.
The 4 Pillars of a Yogic lifestyle are
1. Samayak Aahaar - Right Food. Aahaar is actually something which you consume. So its not just about food but also what you take in mentally and emotionally. Its about being mindful about what you eat, how you eat and maintaining the right balance based on what is right for one's body
2. Samyak Vihaar - Right relaxation. This component includes rest, sleep, as well as the right active recreation or hobby.
3. Samyak Achaar - Right habits and routines. Yoga recommends that there should be specific structure in your day - a routine - which includes habits which uplift you and energize you Physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. At the same time, Yogis should be flexible with their routines for any grey days or unexpected events and not become fixated or rigid about them.
4. Samyak Vichaar - Right Thoughts - This is one of the most important aspects - Because everything always starts with a thought. Any man made creation was once a thought. The Chair we sit on, the soft pillow, the bed, the car - all of these were just a thought before it became a reality. Thought is the seed. So we have to become mindful of what kinds seeds we are planting in our lives.

VIBRATE HIGHER

The Spiritually inclined will understand:
The covid virus has a vibration of 5.5hz and dies above 25.5hz.
For humans with a higher vibration, infection is a minor irritant that is soon eliminated!
The reasons for having low vibration could be:
Fear, Phobia, Suspicion
Anxiety, Stress, Tension.
Jealousy, Anger, Rage
Hate, Greed,deceit, cunningness, cheating,
Attachment or Pain
And so......we have to understand to vibrate higher, so that the lower frequency does not weaken our immune system.
The frequency of the earth today is 27.4hz. but there are places that vibrate very low like:
Hospitals
Assistance Centers.
Jails
Underground etc.
It is where the vibration drops to 20hz, or less.
For humans with low vibration, the virus becomes dangerous.
Pain 0.1 to 2hz.
Fear 0.2 to 2.2hz.
Irritation 0.9 to 6.8hz.
Noise 0.6 to 2.2hz.
Pride 0.8 hz.
Superiority 1.9 hz.
A higher vibration on the other hand is the outcome of the following behaviour :-
Generosity 95hz
Gratitude 150 hz
Compassion 150 hz or more.
The frequency of Love and compassion for all living beings is 150 Hz and more.
Unconditional and universal love from 205hz
So...Come on ...
Vibrate Higher!!!

Loving, Smiling, Blessing, Thanking, Playing, Painting, Singing, Dancing, Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditating, Walking in the Sun, Exercising, Enjoying nature, etc.
Foods that the Earth gives us: seeds-grains-cereals-legumes-fruits and vegetables-
Drinking water: help us vibrate higher ..... !!!
The vibration of prayer alone goes from 120 to 350hz. So sing, laugh, love, meditate, play, give thanks and live !

Man is a Bridge : A Bridge between Devil and Divine.
As humans, We have the capacity to make conscious choices and move towards our Divinity - Our higher potential.
Many times we slip into the old unconscious habits which just take our energies down, pull us into negativity.
At such times it is the healthier practices and routines which help us to rise up and bridge the gap from where we are to where we want to be.

Your body is your best friend. It gives you signals, gives you messages and is always in the present. Take out time to Befriend it, listen to your body, thank your body organs for supporting you always and pamper it too.
Your mind is your best servant if you master it, but if it becomes your master and you start serving it, then all chaos begins.
Mastering the Mind doesnt mean trying to control it, because it is just next to impossible to control your mind.
I am reminded of this beautiful story of Buddha. Once Buddha was traveling with in his disciple Anand through a jungle. Buddha was tired and thirsty and asked Anand to fetch water for him from the river through which they had passed few minutes back.
Anand went immediately and returned without water. He told Buddha that the water was too dirty to drink as a caravan had just passed and the whole river was muddy.
Buddha asked him to return to the same river and get water and not return without fetching water.
When Anand reached the river, it was very dirty still. He tried to stir the water and see if he would get clear water but in vain. He couldnt return without water so he sat there and within few minutes, the mud started to settle down and soon the water was clear.
He got the message which Buddha wanted to give him. That the mind settles down when you just witness it, dont stir it, dont feed it with anything else from outside, just with indifference be a watcher and slowly the mind settles.
MEDITATION is the way for MASTERING your MIND.

One of the very simple asanas which gives so many benefits which you must do every day to improve your spinal health.
Keep your wrist, elbow and shoulders in one line, and your knees slightly separated to be in line with your hips.
When you inhale you arch your back, look up and feel the stretch in your abdomen.
When you exhale you hunch your back and scoop the navel towards your spine.
You could do it dynamically changing the posture with each inhale and exhale or else just be in each posture for few breaths.
