Huge well done to Tang National School on winning the the Leinster FAI Primary 5s up in the MDL grounds today.
Four of our U12s players are involved in the squad.

They will now head to the Aviva Stadium to represent Leinster in the All Ireland finals.

MSL u13s Plate Final

AC CELTIC 3-0 Mullingar athletic Cubs

Congratulations to AC U13s who won the Plate with a 3:0 win against a determined Mullingar Cubs team, to make amends for last year's loss

Scott scored on 6min to settle our nerves, but Mullingar remained dangerous and pressed hard to keep it 1:0 at the break. Scott scored 4 mins into the 2nd half to stretch our lead, but yet again Mullingar showed great spirit and kept pressing.

It wasnt until Lefhika's goal with 10mins remaining before we could breath easy. We had many shots on target and just wide, but Mullingars keeper and defence proved to be on their game to keep us curtailed.

Our defence was astounding all season, Cormac was solid as ever in goals, with James G, Oisín, Sean S, and Joao working so well together, often supported by Jimmy and Suchin (who was unfortunate not to get a game today). We chose to crowd our midfield this season and it worked well. Scott, Lefhika, Alex, Wojtek, and Sean G put in major miles in the middle all season, with Alex F and James C supporting. Upfront Luke was a thorn in other teams sides.

Final thanks go to Coaches Tommy and Tara for their unwavering commitment, the AC committee and club, The MSL, and to all the parents and guardians who made this season so successful. 🏆

Big well done to our u12s who took part in the Croi na Eireann Futsal tournament last night in TUS athlone.

Playing some fantastic football throughout the tournament, they fell short in the final to a hungrier Temple Villa side.

Well done to all the Clubs and players involved, big thanks to the referee John and Glen Byrne for organising👏👏.

Huge well done to our u12 players Jack Convey and Josh Byrne on winning the Hamburg trophy with the Midlandschoolboysgirls League team over Easter. Well done lads 👏👏

Two very proud boys, well done to our ow Kian and Adam on finishing runner ups with the U11's for the MSL in Blackpool. 👏

Best of Luck to both Kian and Adam from our U11's playing for the MSL in the Blackpool Cup this weekend. All proud of you guys !!

U12s Major Division

St Joseph's vs AC Celtic

In a bright and sunny Cushla park AC took on our friends and rivals St Joseph's in the west vs east el Classico

The game started with neither team able to assert control game, until Shane Convey started to cause serious problems down the left wing. A thunderbolt of a free kick from Gav Higgins saw AC 1 up. We were 2 up with some excellent hold up play from David O’Grady put Shaneo through to score his first of the season. St Joseph's found it very difficult to deal with the Shane and Gavin combinations down the left, Gavin scoring his 2nd of the game.

At 3 down St Joseph's started to cause problems of their own, Jack Convey been called into play a few times.

St Joseph's pulled one back before half time to make it 3-1. But AC picked it up again to finish strong. Gavin grabbing his hatrick.

Best today for AC were Gav, Shaneo, and Josh Byrne was a monster at the back.

U14s Major Division

St Joseph's 1-3 AC Celtic

Our U14s won 3-1on the road against St Joseph's in the major Division.

AC dominated the game from start to finish, never looked like losing, took us a while to score,
Hit the crossbar just before half time.
Then went 2 nil up from an excellent Tristan Allen strike and a tiny flick finish from beltran,
Joseph's piled on the pressure and got one with about 10 minutes to go.
1 minute later the ball broke to Tristan Allen just on the half way line and he hit such a strike, which clipped the low side of the cross bar in to the goal. Unreal goal.

Thats 5 goals in 3 games in the major Division for Tristan Allen, not a bad return for our former center half. 👏👏

Great performance and attitude from the boys today after a few harsh results in the last 2 weeks.
