More traffic for Captain's Hill?
The New Road adjoining the Clonee Rd (R149) arrives at Confey and the planned route is down Captain's Hill to an already blocked village. Captain's Hill cannot take more traffic.
Why not widen the L1015 and continue this road to Kellystown Lane which is just outside Leixlip Town and can give access to the M4? Also helps Intel.
I understand there is a protected bridge only suitable for alternating traffic on Kellystown Lane. This bridge could be further protected with all traffic going around it on a wide berth, thus keeping it safe.
Seems crazy planning to have increased traffic heading down Captain's Hill to the village and the already very busy T-junction.
