We are delighted to be one of the many clubs across Ireland taking part in RTE's Operation Transformation 'Ireland Lights Up' walking initiative again this year.

It starts on Wednesday 11th January 2023, 8.00pm to 9.00pm and will run every Wednesday night for 9 weeks (finishing on Wednesday 8th March 2023). The walks will take place on The walking track at the Pitch

This is a great opportunity for everyone in our community to meet up for a walk and a chat with neighbours and friends in a safe and well lit up walking track locally.

This initiative is open to the whole community, to all ages and is free of charge!

'Ireland Lights Up' is a national initiative which aims to improve the health of the country through communities across Ireland and promote both the physical and mental benefits of walking and exercise. Communities all over Ireland are coming together to walk and talk in a safe environment during the dark winter evenings.
