Congratulations to Ella Buckley and Niamh O'Mahony who were included in the Munster Senior Women's matchday squad for today's impressive win over Connacht.
A fantastic milestone for two players who have progressed through the Ballincollig RFC pathway and gone on to earn representative honours with Munster and Ireland age-grade teams.

🇮🇪 HISTORY MADE AT BALLINCOLLIG RFC 🇮🇪

Everyone at Ballincollig RFC is absolutely delighted to congratulate Aoibheann McGrath on being awarded an IRFU Central Contract for the 2026/27 season. ☘️

This is a landmark moment for our club as Aoibheann becomes the first current Ballincollig RFC player to receive a senior IRFU central contract.

From her beginnings with Dungarvan RFC, through Ballincollig RFC, Munster Rugby, the Clovers and the Irish international pathway, Aoibheann's journey has been built on talent, dedication and relentless hard work.

Those who know Aoibheann know that while she is an outstanding rugby player, she is also one of the most humble, genuine and hardworking people you could meet. Her teammates, coaches and supporters have seen first-hand the commitment she brings on and off the pitch every day.

This recognition is richly deserved and is a proud day not just for Aoibheann, but for everyone connected with Ballincollig RFC.

Congratulations to Daniel Murphy and Seán Óg Buttimer, who represented Munster at an U16 blitz in Portlaoise on Tuesday 11th.

Munster had a fantastic day, winning all three of their games, with both Daniel and Seán Óg getting on the scoresheet with a try each! 👏🏉
