🎾 Timony Cup – A Huge Thank You! 👏

What a fantastic day at our Timony Cup yesterday! We hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as we did. A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped make the event such an enjoyable occasion. ❤️

A sincere thank you to everyone who contributed to making the day such a success, both on and off the court. From organising and running the tournament to preparing and serving food, selling raffle tickets and helping everything run smoothly, your time, effort and support are greatly appreciated.

A special word of thanks to our wonderful sponsors for their generous support and fantastic prizes:
🎁 Conkers Restaurant, Ballybofey
🎾 John Maguire and Francis Venzon for their tennis lessons
⚽ Ballybofey United
🎉 All our members who kindly donated fantastic raffle prizes

We would also like to give a special thank you to Pat Brennan for generously taking on the role of photographer for the event and capturing so many memories from the day. 📸

Finally, we are delighted to share that our club has donated €881.40 to Relay for Life, raised at our Family Fun Day in June. ❤️ This is something we can all be proud of, and we are grateful to everyone who supported the event and helped us raise money for such a worthwhile cause.

Thank you once again to everyone who played a part in making the Timony Cup such a success. It’s the people, generosity and community spirit that make our club so special! 💚🎾

🎾 Northwest League Round-Up 🎾

Well done to both our Butt Hall Mixed B and Mixed C teams who were in action in the Northwest League this weekend, with both teams coming away with hard-fought 2–2 draws. 👏

Our Mixed C team — Mary, Diane, Mick and Sean — travelled to Strabane for their opening match. There was some great tennis on display and it was a really enjoyable day. A huge thank you to our wonderful hosts in Strabane for their fantastic hospitality, as always, and for the delicious lunch we enjoyed together afterwards. We look forward to welcoming the Strabane team to Dreenan for the return leg in November.

Meanwhile, our Mixed B team — Kathy, Grainne, Phil and Shane — hosted Letterkenny Tennis Club. Another closely fought match with some excellent tennis throughout, resulting in a well-earned 2–2 draw. The team are now looking forward to the rematch in Letterkenny in a few weeks’ time.

A fantastic weekend of tennis for both teams. Well played everyone, and best of luck for the return fixtures! 🎾👏

BHTC members had a great time at the table quiz fundraiser for our club last night. There was a brilliant turnout and a good sum was raised at this event from the quiz and raffle. Our committee would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped out, supported, attended, bought & sold raffle tickets, donated raffle prizes, spread the word and so on. We owe a special word of thanks to our friends at the B&S Golf Club for running the quiz and hosting us in their wonderful club house. Thank you to all the staff, members and committee there for all the help and a big shout out to our Master Quizmaster last night Barry McMenamin for the top class service he provided and to Mary McHugh for arranging everything for us. Thank you and well done everyone 👏
